Although the poet Vladimir Khlynov has been writing poetry regularly since 1974, he first published his fairy tale only in the mid-90s, when he worked at the Paris Commune shoe factory in Moscow. The newspaper of this enterprise, called Kommunar, helped him publish Mishka Tishka for the first time.

The factory workers liked the creation of the poet. And the image of the main character fell onsoul to children. With the light hand of Khlynov, various stories and cartoons with this hero appeared.
