In 1989 she moved to San Francisco. It was there that Linda really fell in love with music. At one time, Perry lived in a small room next to a pizzeria, where she worked for about six months. There she began to sing. Neighbors began to call her "a bird with a powerful voice."

When already a decent number of people advised her to somehow improve her talent, she decided to start looking for a group in which she could perform. A few months later, Perry meets Krista Hillhouse, who invites our heroine to her team - 4 Non Blondes.

Rockstar

A few years later, Linda and her band are on a world tour togetherwith the album Bigger, Better, Faster, More! But after a long successful career with 4 Non Blondes, Perry leaves the group for the sake of his solo career. At first, there was no success, because Linda's hard-to-release album had to be promoted on her own, spending her money, and as a result, not receiving a response from the audience. After another world tour with the group Red Fish, Blue Fish, the singer is finally disappointed in show business.

In response to her setbacks, Linda decides to start her own label to help her advance her career. She also planned to support other aspiring and talented artists in this way. Soon, Perry still creates the Rockstar label, which immediately gained popularity among little-known bands in San Francisco. Perry's first band was the California band Stone Fox.

After Hours is the singer's second album, which was released in 1999.
