A little more than three years ago, the theatrical map of the capital was replenished with a new name - the Optimistic Theater. It became the brainchild of director Dmitry Burkhankin and producer Valery Khorozhansky. Why is it interesting for the viewer, let's take a closer look.
Community of caring people
This institution with a cheerful name is united by a desire to create a kind, intelligent and bright theater that preaches life in its best aspects. United by this idea, the institution gathered like-minded people from a well-known galaxy of actors: both well-deserved and young, but already very recognizable and loved. The repertoire of the Optimistic Theater has increased to 29 performances over the three years of its activity, most of which are comedies, which is quite natural for a team with such a name.
Where to see?
Address of the Optimistic Theater: Nikitsky Boulevard, 8 in Moscow. But this is only the address of the office. Since the theater is young and was formed on the basis of an idea, and not by transforming an existing project, it is logical that it does not have its own theater building. However, there are a number of sitesstage on which the troupe performs on an ongoing basis. This is DC. Zuev, Moscow Music Hall, TsDKZh, Vysotsky Center on Taganka, the Hermitage Theater and them. Yermolova. Recently, this list was replenished with a new hall of the Optimistic Theater on Serpukhovka.
Cast
For those viewers who prefer to go to the theater to see familiar actors, this team is a top ten hit. Whatever performance you choose, either your favorite honored artists or the stars of popular television series and shows will definitely play in it.
Vladimir Dolinsky, Galina Polskikh, Olga Volkova, Elena Safonova, Valentin Smirnitsky are representatives of the "old" school who will be of interest to traditional theatergoers. Irina Alferova, Tatiana Kravchenko, Igor Bochkin, Larisa Udovichenko, Tatiana Abramova, Tatiana Lyutaeva can also be included here, but from the next generation.
The performances of the Optimistic Theater feature the stars of everyone's favorite series Voronins and Daddy's Daughters: Ekaterina Volkova, Tatiana Orlova, Eduard Radzyukevich, Yulia Kuvarzina and Andrey Leonov.
Young people's favorites for various roles in popular television series are: Aristarkh Venes, Andrey Gaidulyan, Roman Kurtsyni others.
And again KVN
A significant proportion of the artists involved in the productions of the Optimistic Theater are from the KVN environment. So, for example, the former star of the Perm KVN team, as well as the TV series Interns Svetlana, plays in Non-Flying Weather, or the Penguin Mating SeasonPermyakova. And here she is not just an actress, but for the first time acts as a director. In addition to her, another colleague, known for the Comedy Woman project, Marina Fedunkiv, is participating in the production.
Former KVN players of different teams play in the comedy "Fools": the captain of the "Narts from Abkhazia" Timur Denmark, Peter Vince from "Children of Lieutenant Schmidt", as well as Nadezhda Angarskaya and Tatiana Dorofeeva - the current participants of Comedy Woman.
Best comedies
In the ranking of the website of the Optimistic Theater, whose address is: www.optimistic-theatre.ru, the first place in popularity among comic performances is occupied by "Two Husbands for the Price of One". This is a funny story about a love triangle of husband, wife and best friend. The sophistication of the love collision is violated by the unlucky aunt who came to visit with her unmarried daughter. The tyrant and the "blue stocking" will put an end to this "den of debauchery", everyone will get what they deserve.
No less popular production is "Dear Pamela, or how to sew an old lady", which is a benefit performance of the wonderful actress Olga Volkova. This story tells about a gang of swindlers who, on the eve of Christmas, climbed into the home of a lonely, crazy, according to others, old woman Pamela to hide from the police. The hostess cordially welcomes unexpected guests who cannot even imagine how their life will turn now, and that this shack is not a temporary shelter, but a future home.
The production of “Love and Doves”, which is a dedication to the 30th anniversary of everyone, is not deprived of audience sympathyfavorite comedy. The same familiar characters: Vasily, Nadyukha, Lenka, Lyudka, Uncle Mitya and Baba Shura, but with a slightly different interpretation. However, this is still the same bright story, showing enduring love, a home and people acting at the behest of the heart.
With great enthusiasm, the audience accepts the comedy "I want to buy your husband." An original and eccentric performance based on the play by Mikhail Zadornov, which makes you think about the value of love and family. The anecdotal plot of the play is discouraging, in which a young lady appears in a decent house and tells the hostess that she would like to acquire her husband. Viewers should definitely see how subtly and effectively the deceived spouse will come out of this situation. The play also exists in two film versions, one of which was played by the late author of the play.
Drama
Few theater directors could pass by "Juno and Avos" - the legendary rock opera to music by Alexei Rybnikov and texts by Andrei Voznesensky. Even the Optimistic Theater was no exception. Director A. Rykhlov offers the viewer his version of the tragic love story that took place between the Russian count, navigator Rezanov and the daughter of the Spanish governor of San Francisco, Conchita Argüello. Zh. Rozhdestvenskaya was engaged in staging vocal numbers in the rock opera, Zh. Shmakova was responsible for the choreography.
Creative evenings on the theater stage
The stage of the Optimistic Theater of Moscow is ready to bring the viewer different emotions: joyful and cheerful, dramatic and tragic, sincere andnostalgic. It is the latter that can be felt by visiting the creative evening of the Russian writer and poetess Larisa Rubalskaya. Pleasant atmosphere, live communication, heartfelt and sensual poems by an incredibly talented woman, songs on whose texts are performed by many Russian stars: I. Kobzon, A. Pugacheva, I. Allegrova and others.
Optimistic theater reviews
The audience who attended the performances of the troupe, respond positively to their work. Despite the youth of the team, good acting work is visible with full dedication, the scenery is interestingly invented. The audience remembers the comedic abilities of Svetlana Permyakova and Marina Fedunkiv.
Those who have visited "Juno and Avos" notice that with a minimum of scenery and simplicity of costumes, impressions after staging remain "goosebumps" on the skin. And the tandem of beautiful music and voice with complementary choreography, a combination of rock and church singing, is imprinted in the memory of the audience for a long time.
Cons concern the play "Love and Doves". It turns out that the production is constantly being compared to the film. The costumes were also criticized - they are too simple and gloomy, according to the public. To form your own opinion about the Optimistic Theater, it is best to come directly to the performance.
