History of the theater

The Teresa Durova Theater was founded in 1991. Then its leader organized the International Clown Festival in Moscow. More than 300 artists from different parts of Russia and from other countries gathered to take part in it. It was from the participants of this festival, when it ended, that the troupe of the clownery repertory theater was assembled. The first performance took place in 1993. At the same time, the repertoire also changed, now it is based on musical performances. Performances are intended for children, teenagers, youth and adult audiences. The Teresa Durova Theater actively participates in festivals of the All-Russian and international levels. The troupe regularly goes on tour.

Teatrium on Serpukhovka holds festivals of children's creativity. The most popular of them is called "Gavroche". It has been held since 2007. The festival consists not only in competitive competitions, master classes are held at it. The Teresa Durova Theater is the author of several wonderful projects:
