How to draw tears: two easy ways

Tears are the s alty liquid that flows from our eyes when we cry. And although we most often associate tears with pain and sadness, we can shed them on other occasions as well. Tears are often depicted simply in the form of a drop, but in this article we will look at a slightly more realistic way of how to draw tears.

Drawing eyes

To draw tears, you will need a pencil with an eraser and paper. But first you need to depict the eyes. First draw a curved line. Then add another line, which on one side is connected to the first line at an acute angle, and on the other side with a short vertical line. Color in the resulting figure. Draw a mirror image of this figure. Thus, we got the two upper eyelids.

Add a few small triangles at the top corner of each eyelid and fill them in to make lashes. Also, with a curved line under each eye, draw the lower eyelid.

Draw a round iris between the upper and lower eyelids of each eye. Draw curved stripes from the innerparts of the upper eyelids. Then draw the eyebrows by drawing two curved lines. Draw two short curved lines to show the wrinkles that form around the eyebrows from sad emotions.

How to draw tears: the first way

Having drawn the eyes, it's time to start drawing tears. Draw tears flowing from the eye with a wavy long line, forming an oblong irregular shape. Under this shape, draw another one. In the form of a small tear. Repeat the same for the other eye and add some extra teardrops next to the ones already drawn.

Inside each eye, draw another circle to represent the pupils. On top of the pupils, make two small ovals that intersect with each other. Fill in the pupils, leaving the ovals white. You can add a "water effect" in the eyes by drawing a few small highlights in the form of circles.

Second way

Let's look at another easy way to draw eyes with tears, and first you need to draw an eye again.

First of all, draw a straight horizontal line, and then a circle, the center of which is slightly above this line. Draw two half circles - one above the straight line, intersecting with the circle, and one below the line, also intersecting with the circle. As a result, you should get an almond-shaped figure.

Above the upper and lower eyelids, draw in a curved line. Near the top line, draw another small one.

Draw tears as three ovals of different shapes. Addpupil in the center of the circle and fill it in. Creating shapes of irregular shape, circle the previously drawn ovals with jagged lines. Remove extra lines, draw eyelashes with short dashes and color the eye.
