It's already mid-April, and spring is coming into its own with might and main: puddles on the roads, blue clouds, the burning sun and the satisfied faces of passers-by testify to this. With the advent of spring, everything around comes to life: flowers, trees, and people. The first snowdrops timidly stick out their heads and look around in search of their comrades - and find them.

Beautiful flowers - snowdrops

The snowdrop usually blooms in April: it looks out from under the snow that has already begun to melt. It blooms for a long time, three to four weeks. These delightful flowers grow in forests, in a pine forest - on the edge or even in gardens and orchards. These flowers need moist, nutrient-rich soil, so they can often be found growing under trees.

Snowdrop is white with small green spots on the edge of the petals. The shape of the petals makes the snowdrop look like a bell: three of the six petals are long, outer, the remaining three are inner, short.

The sad fate of the first spring flowers

Snowdrops are very beautiful, for which they suffer: because of their appearance, they are hunted by lovers of beautiful bouquets. Snowdrops are given to dear people for spring holidays or simply torn for themselves.

Few people know that these gentle modest plants are listed in the Red Book as an endangered species - it is strictly forbidden to tear them. But demand creates supply - flower shops are filled with these flowers in spring, and very soon, perhaps, these beautiful creatures will completely disappear from the face of the Earth.

Draw a snowdrop with a pencil step by step

Surely many art lovers would like to draw a snowdrop in all its glory with their own hands. But how to do it if you don't know how to draw at all? The answer is simple: draw a snowdrop in stages, as shown below. To do this, we need: a sheet of paper, a simple pencil and an eraser to remove the excess.

First of all, draw a circle - the middle of the flower - and draw a slightly wavy line from it, drawing a snowdrop leg.

Next, draw the stem, make it visually thicker.

The next step is to draw the petals: two outer and one inner.

Next, draw a flower anther inside the petal.

Next, draw three leaves: two large ones at the base and one smaller one at the top, closer to the petals. We draw a line inside each leaflet. We draw exactly the same lines in the center of the two outer petals.

After you have almost drawn a snowdrop, at the base of the snowdrop, around the petal, you can draw a puddle of water in which, supposedly, the flower grows. You can draw small pebbles in the water.

How to color a drawn image

Immediately after we have drawn the snowdrop with a pencil, let's color it in so that it miraculously comes to life right before our eyes. To do this, we need a dark green paint - for the leaves, a little lighter - for the stem, blue - for water, white or, as in our case, pale blue - for painting the petals, yellow paint - for the anther of the flower (middle).

How to draw a snowdrop, we already understood, now let's see how to color it. It is better not to paint the flower in one color; to make it lively, try making transitions from a darker to a lighter shade. If you do not have different shades of the same color, do not rush to get upset. This effect can be achieved with ordinary water: the more water you add to the paint, the lighter it will become. Again, white paint can come to the rescue.

That's all, our drawing is ready! By the way, very soon April 19 is World Snowdrop Day. This is exactly the time when snowdrops bloom in England. These are not just beautiful, pleasing to the eye, flowers. They warm our soul with memories: each of us has been familiar with these beautiful flowers since childhood. Remember, we were read the fairy tale by Samuil Yakovlevich Marshak "The Twelvemonths" in which these flowers appear: having gone to the forest in the middle of winter, the main character met twelve months in the clearing, which gave the girl the opportunity to pick up a basket of flowers.

From a very young age, we are taught to love nature, the world around us, and the people around us. In order to please mom on March 8 or any other day, it is not necessary to pick flowers. Better draw a snowdrop as shown in this article. Such a souvenir will be even more pleasant, because the best gift is the one made by yourself.
