Philippe Page - this is exactly what the real name of the genius composer sounds like - was born on December 28, 1953 in Paris.

Interest in music was instilled in young Philip by his father, who knew how to play the piano and guitar a little, and also mastered the accordion quite well in his youth.

Philip's family lived on the pennies that his father earned by teaching those who wanted to play the piano, as well as on the salary of his mother, who was a cleaner in the office.

A little later, Richard Clayderman, whose "Moon Tango" becomes a worldwide hit, decides to start a concert activity.

From this moment on, the composer's life is closed in two cycles - recording new material and continuous touring. Surprisingly, in the era of rock music and disco, Clayderman's compositions enjoyed incredible success.

First love - Rosalyn - met Richard at the age of 18, and almost immediately became a wife, giving her daughter Maude to her young husband in 1971. However, a few years later the couple broke up, and already in 1980 the young pianist married again - to his girlfriend Christine. Four years later ina boy appears in the family - Joel.

The composer himself admits that in his second marriage he showed more responsibility than the first time, but endless tours did not leave time for family happiness, and Clayderman was forced to divorce his wife.

Richard Clayderman, whose albums drove and continue to drive the whole world crazy, was lonely for a long time, despite the large number of contenders for the hand and heart of the “prince of romance.”

Many years later, in 2010, the composer realizes that the violinist Tiffany, who played in his orchestra, understands him much better than previous passions, and in 2011 proposes to her, creating a family union for the third time.
