His brief biography, however, as well as its full form, are studied in the school curriculum. And no wonder, because the life of this Soviet writer and poet was full of interesting and at the same time tragic events. This article will present a brief biography of Tvardovsky for those who have not yet read it before. Correct this oversight urgently.
So, the future poet and writer was born in 1910. This significant event took place in the Smolensk province in the family of a blacksmith, whose name was Tryphon. Alexander's mother is Maria Mitrofanovna. The father of the future writer was a very well-read man, so in the house one could often hear reading aloud from Lermontov, Pushkin, Nikitin, Gogol, Ershov, and so on. It is not at all surprising that little Sasha began to compose poetry early. Moreover, at that time he could neither read them nor write them down, as he was illiterate. His first poem was an angry denunciation of the yard boys who ruinedbird nests.
A brief biography of Tvardovsky reports that already at school, when he was 14 years old, he took the position of a selcor for local newspapers. And in 1925, these publications first published the poet's poems. After 4 years, Alexander goes to Moscow to find a literary job to his liking. But about a year later he returned to Smolensk, studied at the Pedagogical Institute and lived here until 1936. Around the same period, tragic events occur in the life of the writer. His family was dispossessed and exiled. But, in spite of everything, a series of essays appears under the title "On the collective farm Smolensk region." The poem "Country Ant" can be safely called a serious stage in all his work.
In 1936, Alexander nevertheless moved to Moscow. This is reported by a brief biography of Tvardovsky. And during the years of study at the Institute of History, Philosophy and Literature, he did a lot of translations of the classics of the peoples of the USSR. When Alexander was a student, he was awarded the Order of Lenin for services to literature. Due to the fact that the writer has achieved all-Union recognition, he manages to return his family from exile.
The poet's military journey begins in 1939. He actively participates in campaigns as a military commander. And the works created during the war years bring great fame to Tvardovsky. What is the poem "Vasily Terkin" worth. Every educated person at least once in his life, but read it. The poem "House by the Road" is also notorious, describing the horrors and hopelessness of the war. These are not all the works thatglorified the poet and which A. T. Tvardovsky was proud of.
His brief biography reports that in the post-war years he was a deputy in one of the districts of the Vladimir region, then Voronezh. And in 1950, the writer was appointed to the post of editor of a magazine called Novy Mir. In the next decade, Tvardovsky continues to create. And the magazine takes on a new direction with Khrushchev's permission. "Neo-Stalinists" did not appreciate such changes, so after the removal of Nikita Sergeevich, a campaign was carried out against the "New World". Glavlit did not allow important materials to be printed, but no one could formally dismiss Alexander Tvardovsky. As an alternative to this, his deputies were removed from their posts, and hostile people took their places. A brief biography of Tvardovsky tells that he still had to quit in 1970, however, the magazine's staff left with him. At the end of 1971, on December 18, Alexander Tvardovsky fell ill and died soon after. A well-known writer, a respected and simply talented person, was buried at Moscow's Novodevichy Cemetery.
