In 1993, a team led by Dmitry Sokolov first appeared on the KVN stage. The sparkling humor and extraordinary imagination of the young participants in 1995 led the "Ural dumplings" to an unconditional victory. The team did not rest on their laurels, but continued their triumphant ascent to the stage.

The history of the origin of the show "Ural dumplings"

How are brilliant projects created? As a rule, spontaneously and without prior preparation. This is how the Ural Pelmeni KVN team was born, which later became the basis of the famous creative association.

In 1993, a group of students from the Ural Polytechnic Institute decided to unite into a team of cheerful and resourceful people. The energy of the newly minted contestants was overflowing, as a result of which in 1995 Pelmeni became the absolute champions of Yekaterinburg. The team began to appear fans. Rozhkov and Myasnikov were especially popular in the Ural dumplings. The first - thanks to the incredible charisma, the second -because of unusual songs.

After winning the KVN, life separated the players in different directions. But in 2007, the guys again decided to remember their young years. So the Show News was born, which lasted about two years. The desire of viewers to enjoy more poignant jokes significantly lowered the rating of the program, so the channel's management was forced to close it.

This prompted activists to try a second chance. In 2009, a trial episode of the Ural Dumplings project was broadcast on the air of the STS TV channel. Since then, the show has been one of the most popular spectacles of Russian citizens.

Today the team consists of 14 people. The project is led by Sergey Isaev. All participants are recognizable and loved by the audience. And the show "Ural dumplings" with Rozhkov, Myasnikov, Sokolov and Brekotkin continues to air.

Even if a person has seen the show for the first time, he cannot forget the bright red-haired participant with incredible charisma for a long time. The name of Andrey Rozhkov is always associated with the project.
