In 1923, a fairy tale was written in the poetic form "Fly-Tsokotuha". The author published it for the first time a year later, though under a different title. The tale was called "Mukhina's wedding." The author of "Fly-Tsokotukha" is Korney Chukovsky. Fairy tales "Crocodile", "Cockroach", "Aibolit" and others also belong to his pen. He is known to most people as a children's writer, although he has many other works to his credit, including critical and scientific works.

Biography

The writer's childhood passed under the label "illegitimate". His father was a student in whose house Korney Ivanovich's mother worked as a servant. After living together for three years, they broke up, as the student left. The woman was left alone with two children, she was forced to leave for Odessa, where they lived poorly. His meeting with his father took place in adulthood. This was their only meeting. Chukovsky did not forgive the man who broke their lives, because of which the writer and his sister lived with the stigma of "illegitimate". Chukovsky took his mother's surname, studied on his own, since, according to the law "On Cook's Children", he was expelled from an educational institution. The marriage of the writer himself was happy. Children for Chukovsky are everything. By the way, it was his children who were the main assistants andaddressees of the writer's work.

History of Creation

According to Chukovsky's memoirs, he began to write a cheerful tale about a fly's wedding on a piece of paper, while he represented himself as the groom. He wrote the poem itself long before that. But each time, taking on it, he quit, because he could not write a single line. “Fly-Tsokotuha” is a fairy tale poem written in one breath. And then suddenly the words poured from the very heart, so I had to write on a strip of wallpaper torn from the wall.

And when he wrote about the dance, he began to dance himself. It was a very ridiculous sight. An adult gray-haired man of forty-two rushes around the apartment with a piece of wallpaper in his hands, and even dances. All my life I loved Korney Chukovsky fairy tales.

Storyline

The plot of the work boils down to the fact that a fly finds money on the way, buys a samovar and invites guests to a name day. However, during the holiday, a spider appears and steals the fly. In fear, all insects scatter. And only a brave mosquito saves a fly. Then she becomes his bride, and the celebration continues. To the question: "Who wrote "Fly-Tsokotuha"?" - any child will answer today. When studying this fairy tale, the children are asked the following questions, which help to understand not only the theme, but also the idea of the work: "What happened to the fly? Who helped her? How did the other guests behave?"

In the fairy tale "Fly-Tsokotuha" the author glorifies the good, which is traditionallyconquers evil. The spider embodies evil, the mosquito - good. Everything seems to be simple and clear. A fairy tale begins with fun, ends with fun too.

According to Korney Ivanovich, "Fly-Tsokotuha" is one of his most cheerful and successful works. The story was a resounding success. The drawings for his book were made by the artist Konashevich and at first Chukovsky really did not like it.

Chukovshchina

Despite the unprecedented success of the book, the fate of her, and of Chukovsky himself, was not easy. The concept of “Chukovskyism” appeared in society, against which parents rose up, who considered the works of Korney Chukovsky worthless books, including the fairy tale “Fly-Tsokotuha”. The author, in their opinion, does not raise Soviet issues in fairy tales, does not consider social problems. On the contrary, it develops unnecessary fears in children, for example, the work "Moidodyr". In the fairy tale "Fly-Tsokotuha" the author glorifies kulaks, and in "Cockroach" he forms a wrong idea about living beings. There were also those who considered the fairy tale not a harmless poem at all, but a completely criminal detective story, clearly not intended for children's perception.

Of course, there were days of suppression of Chukovsky's work, criticism fell upon the writer. But still, the simple language, the lack of unnecessary information made his works favorite children's books.

Therefore, it is fundamentally wrong to say that the fairy tales of Korney Ivanovich Chukovsky do not teach the child goodness, morality, justice. Today, all the merits of the writer are credited, he rightfully takes his placeamong the best children's authors.

"Fly-Tsokotuha", like other works of the writer, is the golden fund of Russian children's literature and will delight the younger generation for a long time.
