Grom's main personality traits are devotion to Russia and faith in the law. For him, a person who decides to take justice into his own hands is just a maniac who needs to be stopped. Not a sympathetic truth seeker.

Russian Marvel superheroes: list

Many characters of Russian origin appeared on the pages of Marvel comics. The most famous was, mainly due to the film industry, Black Widow, a former Russian spy. But not only Russian superheroes appeared in American comics, there were quite a few supervillains as well. For example, Omega Red, Rhino, Chameleon and many others. However, we want to emphasize right away that superheroes will be discussed below.

1. Black Widow

Natalia Romanova, or the Black Widow, is a Russian superhero. Initially, she was an employee of the KGB, then she ended up on the side of SHIELD (an organization to combat crime), becoming its agent. The next period - she spied in SHIELD for the KGB, listed as a double agentSHIELD.

She is not endowed with any superpowers, except for the fact that she was once injected with an analogue of the very serum with which Captain America was created. However, he has a sharp mind, good physical fitness, owns many types of firearms and cold weapons.

As noted above, today this is the most popular Marvel hero of Russian origin, thanks to the films about the Avengers and the game Scarlett Johansson.

2. Colossus

Pyotr Rasputin, or Colossus, is a Russian superhero from the X-Men team. Primary Ability - Turns your body into metal, making you immune to most physical attacks.

Peter was born during Soviet times on the shores of Lake Baikal, on the Ust-Orda collective farm. It was from here that he was later kidnapped by Charles Xavier, founder of the X-Men.

Despite all his strength, Peter has a peaceful and calm disposition. Not to mention the fact that he gave his life for his sentimentality. His sister died from a terrible virus called "Legacy". After some time, an experimental sample of the antidote from him was obtained. For testing, a test subject was needed, and Colossus immediately volunteered. As a result, he died in terrible agony. Fortunately, it later turned out that Peter's dead body was frozen, not cremated. This made it possible for the X-Men to kidnap him and resurrect him.

Interesting are the adventures of the Colossus in post-perestroika Russia. The hero was asked about this by his distant relative Larisa Mishchenko. Somebodysystematically began to exterminate all the relatives of Peter. When the Colossus arrived at home, it turned out that he was one of the heirs of that same Grishka Rasputin. Sinister (a supervillain who opposes the X-men) decided to resurrect Grishka, for which he needed to exterminate all his descendants. Of course, Colossus did everything to ensure that his ancestor remained forever in his grave.

3. Red Guard

Another Russian superhero of the Marvel universe is Krasnogvardeets. Under this name, three people were hiding at different times. This character was created as a Soviet analogue of Captain America. Their costumes are similar - both resemble the flag of the country they are defending; similar names; both of them have the same origin - superpowers were given to them by the serum.

The first Red Guard was Alexei Shostakovich. He was the husband of Natalia Romanova, who was informed that he was dead, although in fact he became the object of a secret experiment. It was in memory of her husband that Natalia became a scout.

Sometimes Alexei is referred to as anti-heroes. This is due to the fact that he very often had to fight with America, defending the interests of his homeland. However, just before his death, he will save Captain America's life by preventing him from being shot.

The next Red Guard is Vladimir Fomin. The serum was lost by that time, so he did not receive any superpowers, except for his own strength and endurance.

And the last Red Guard - Nikolai Krylenko. He used a sickle and a hammer as a weapon. Was a mutantand could fight superheroes like the Hulk or Iron Man.

4. Blind Faith

Alexey Garnov is a Russian superhero ("Marvel"), active during the Soviet era. The government of the Soviet Union decided that the threat posed by mutants was too great. This led to the beginning of the mass extermination of mutants. However, the most interesting representatives of the species were brought to Moscow, where Wolfgang Weinrich, a former Nazi, conducted experiments on them.

One of those who could openly oppose the new regime was a Catholic priest, a mutant with telepathy and empathy - Alexei Garnov. He helps his brothers and begins cooperation with American saboteurs.

His nickname came from the fact that when he took control of the minds of a group of people, his eyes began to glow white.

5. Kraven the Hunter

The last Russian Marvel superhero on our list is Sergei Kravinov, better known as Kraven the Hunter.

By origin - a Russian nobleman. From his youth, Kravinov was fond of hunting, but gradually this hobby grew into a real passion. Kraven does not recognize firearms and prefers to face the beast face to face. That is why he often uses poisons and cunning traps. At one time, he took a special serum that allowed him to gain animal power.

Kraven is often considered a villain due to the fact that he hunted Spider-Man. It was this hero that the avid hunter considered worthy prey for himself. However, this character is not entirely unambiguous, he was also on the sidegood.

Not so long ago in Russia they began to talk about the fact that we always had enough of our own superheroes. Of course, the closest attention was paid to the three epic heroes. And the expression "Russian superhero Ilya Muromets" can be found almost everywhere today.

In addition, very often the " title" of a superhero is attributed to fairy-tale characters. For example, Ivan the Fool, the Frog Princess, Moidodyr, Kolobok, Ryaba Hen (for her ability to lay golden eggs is an obviously humorous move) and many others. Even Aibolit is credited with superpowers. However, the talents of such superheroes are described in a very ironic way.

And if epic heroes are taken quite seriously - their strength can really compete with the abilities of American superheroes - then the elevation of fairy-tale characters to the rank of superheroes is clearly satirical.

Tomorrow

Continuing the satirical theme, we must not forget about one of the most famous native Russian heroes with a speaking name - Tomorrow. The Russian superhero with such a nickname, of course, refers to the characteristic feature of the Russian people - leaving things for tomorrow.

Tomorrow is not a comic book hero, rather, it is a kind of mythological semi-fairytale character. It is not surprising that he was born, one might say, among the people.

Thus, Russia has not only its own comic book heroes, but also fairy-tale characters who are credited with superpowers.
