Marvel comics superheroes have recently gained immense popularity and continue to develop at a very rapid pace. The Marvel Universe includes a huge number of heroes, villains, ordinary people and other characters, one way or another connected with the superhero theme.

Usually, Marvel superheroes have their own backstory, which is dedicated to a separate film, and sometimes several. The central place in the universe is occupied by the characters of the Avengers squad. The films about them turned out to be very successful, people fell in love with these Marvel superheroes, which means it's time to create one global project that will unite the most popular heroes of the MCU and amaze with its scale, both in terms of quality and financially.

So it happened. The film "The Avengers", which was released in 2012, became one of the highest-grossing films in the history of cinema. At the moment, fees exceed one and a half billion dollars.

So, which Marvel superheroes are on the Avengers team? In total, it includes 6 characters, each of which has its own individual qualities and abilities.

Iron Man

Tony Stark is one of the richest people on the planet and, concurrently,brilliant scientist and inventor of weapons. Tony and his father made their fortune in the production of various kinds of ammunition, but when Tony grew up, he realized that his inventions only bring people pain and suffering, so he abandoned the production of weapons, assembled a high-tech iron suit for himself and began to use it to fight evil and protecting humanity.

Iron Man is the most charismatic member of the team. It is in his remarks that most of the jokes in the film are embedded, which are so fond of many viewers. In Marvel movies, superhero acting usually doesn't disappoint, and actor Robert Downey Jr. did an excellent job as well.

Tony Stark himself does not have any superpowers, but the suit makes him one of the strongest members of the team. It is Iron Man who most often plays a decisive role in many battles involving the Avengers.

Captain America

The movie about Captain America marked the beginning of a long journey to create a full-fledged movie about the Avengers. This is evidenced by its name "The First Avenger".

Steve Rogers was the usual frail kid who was not even wanted to be drafted into the army due to his weak physique. However, this did not stop him, he tried with all his might to get into the war to help his country.

One day, Steve comes across the scientist who invented the super soldier serum, thinking about who should be the first person to experience its effects. That person was Steve.

The serum endowed himregeneration abilities and huge muscle mass and strength, and the American government gave him a shield made of heavy-duty metal that can withstand a blow of any power. This made Captain America virtually invulnerable and capable of dealing with any enemy.

Hulk

Bruce Banner was a scientist and worked with gamma radiation, studying its effect on the cells of the body. Once one of his assistants fell right under the emitter, and Bruce, in order to save his friend, covered the emitter with his body, receiving a huge dose of gamma radiation.

Colleagues and relatives thought that Bruce had almost no chance of surviving, but he not only survived, but also acquired an unusual ability to turn into a ferocious monster every time something unnerves him.

In the Avengers squad, the Hulk is the biggest and most powerful character in terms of physical strength. Turning into a monster, he cannot control himself and begins to break and destroy everything around, weakly distinguishing between friends and foes, so even members of the squad often get it from him.

Thor

The only superhero who is not human. Thor arrived on earth from his distant kingdom, which is called Asgard. The purpose of his visit is to help earthlings, as here he found his love and help when he found himself in a difficult situation.

The main source of power is his hammer, which allows this character to fly, control lightning and strikeincredible strength.

Hawkeye and Black Widow

These characters, unlike the others, do not have their own films, but only appear in some Marvel films as minor characters.

Black Widow is known to viewers from the Iron Man films, and Hawkeye appeared in the Thor film. They do not have superpowers, but are only well-trained soldiers with excellent command of military weapons.

The Avengers can be considered the central superheroes of the Marvel Universe. Of course, every comic book lover has their favorite Marvel superheroes, but the company has been going to the Avengers movie for a very long time and this path has not been easy at all. Fortunately, it turned out to be successful and lived up to all the expectations of the audience. In the history of Marvel, the superhero team will forever remain one of the most successful projects.
