The actors involved in the project were supposed to embody such a story on the screen. "Right" was created by a whole creative group of like-minded people, and Todd Phillips acted not only as a director, but also as a co-producer.

Between their characters, according to the director, there is a kind of "anti-chemistry", which makes it difficult for them to communicate. Peter is a busy, cynical businessman who neatly folds things and never partes with his hands-free. Ethan is an overly sentimental, friendly loser who imagines himself an actor and sincerely believes in Shakespeare's common saying about "life is a theater" and "people are actors." In addition, unwitting fellow travelers have an additionalan annoying factor that certainly pisses Peter off is the bulldog Sunny, who is similar in character and habits to his master.
The hero of Jamie Foxx also fit perfectly into the story, unfortunately, he had very little screen time. The supporting actors also did a good job. Back to Back would not have been such a spectacular show without Michelle Monaghan, Juliette Lewis, Danny McBride and more.
