Some of them make an indelible impression on the children's mind and are remembered, some are forgotten. The first include works written by Alexander Sharov.
Bright, talented and, most importantly, honest tales. They show many features that are present in our world, good and bad. His works for teenagers and adults differ in the same way.
Sharov Alexander: biography of the writer
According to those who knew Sharov, his life was quite difficult. However, he did not lose his love for people, as well as his desire to write for them, to show life as it really is. Everything that was laid in him in his childhood, bore fruit in a more mature age. According to his son Vladimir, Alexander remained a child until the very end. In the sense that everything that happensaround him he perceived very brightly.
Alexander's real name is Sher Izrailevich Nuremberg. He was born in Ukraine in the city of Kyiv. This event happened on the twenty-fifth of April 1909. His family was considered professional revolutionaries. The parents of the future writer died: his mother was shot in 1937, and his father died in custody in 1949.
Sharov Alexander began his studies at the Moscow Experimental School-Commune. Lepeshinsky. Then he entered Moscow State University and graduated from the Faculty of Biology in 1932 with a degree in genetics. He worked in his speci alty for a short time, after a while he went into journalism. He finally left, as he began to print back in 1928, while studying at the university.
In 1937, Alexander Sharov appeared in print. It was such a pseudonym that Sher Izrailevich took and it was with him that he began to sign his books. Since 1947, Sharov has been working in the Ogonyok magazine. He worked there until 1949. Since 1954, he began to publish in the journal Novy Mir in the section Writer's Diary.
During World War II, he volunteered for the front. During this period, he saw a lot of things, rose to the rank of major. He received several medals, as well as the Order of the Red Banner of War and the Order of the Patriotic War II degree.
Alexander Sharov died in 1984 in Moscow.
Alexander's family life
Sharov Alexander Izrailevich was married twice. His first wife was Natalya Vsevolodovna Loiko. She also wrote and worked as an architect. The second time she wentmarried writer A. A. Beck. From this marriage, Sharov had a daughter, who was named Nina.
The second time Alexander married Anna Mikhailovna Livanova. She gave birth to the writer's son Vladimir, who also became a writer. It is from him that the reader will learn some details of the personal life of the children's writer and author of science fiction books Sharov.
The most famous works for children
The author started writing, as mentioned above, back in 1928. However, these, of course, were articles for magazines and newspapers, where he worked at that time. The first works that Sharov wrote were popular science, he also wrote prose about how scientists work. It was only in the 50s of the last century that his new hobby, literature for children, was clearly visible.
Let's list the most popular works written by him for the younger generation.
"The Pea Man and the Simpleton". A very fabulous, magical and wise work, which tells about a boy who lost his mother. She left him some things as a legacy and ordered him not to give them to anyone. And the boy was on his way. During the journey, many events happen to him, but the most important thing is the meeting with the teacher Pea Man, the rescue of the Princess and the fairy-tale city. There were many tests, but the boy did it.
"Magicians come to people." Quite an interesting work, which is difficult to call a fairy tale, but still it is for children. The work includes stories about famous storytellers, about how they created theirfairy tales, as well as about their lives. The book includes stories about the following authors: S. T. Asakov, A. Pogorelsky, P. P. Ershov, A. S. Pushkin, V. F. Odoevsky, Antoine de Saint-Exupery, Janusz Korczak and many others.
“Cuckoo is a prince from our court.” This story was published in 1970. It tells about the amazing adventures that began after Sasha met an old man in the yard with flowers on his head instead of hair.
“The Adventures of Ezhenka and Other Drawn Men”. A story about two brothers - evil and good artists. And about magic pencils with which you can draw anything. And about the blue-eyed red-haired girl Ezhenka.
“Volodya and Uncle Alyosha”. An interesting story about the friendship of the boy Volodya and Uncle Alyosha. The latter does not get along with Volodya's neighbor, although he likes her very much. But Alyosha knows how to tell very interesting stories. So we became friends.
"Baby Arrow - the winner of the oceans." A small instructive story about how confidence in victory helps to win it.
“The Tale of the Three Mirrors.”
Artwork for adults
Of course, Alexander Sharov wrote for adults too. These works were created in the style of fantasy. They are distinguished by an ironic style with a rather large admixture of satire. Let's list the famous works:
- “After re-recording”;
- “Pirrow Island”;
- “Illusion or the Kingdom of Bumps”;
- “Mystery of Manuscript 700”.
Other books by Sharov
And below we list the rest of the works,which are not so famous, but are also important both for the younger generation and for adults, because Alexander Sharov wrote books for everyone. So:
- “Girl waiting”;
- “Boy Dandelion and Three Keys”;
- “On a frozen planet”;
- “Old Years”;
- “In ruins”;
- “In the cold”;
- “Some amazing events from the life of Boris Puzyrkov.”
Feature of Sharov's works
In his works, the author raises many uncomfortable questions. His works are very honest, hard-won, humane. Their content is strong and significant, in some cases heavy.
It should be noted that Sharov never wrote "sweet" fairy tales, which always and certainly contain a good ending, where there is nothing terrible. No, these were not horror films, but his works for children reveal the world of human actions and emotions that are not found in other similar works. This is where their honesty lies.
The special atmosphere of the author's works was emphasized by pictures by illustrator Nika Goltz, who collaborated with Sharov. Those first books that were published back in Soviet times had a completely different look than those reprinted in modern times.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I would like to note that today a fairly large number of writers of the Soviet era are simply forgotten. And these were really good writers, whose works touched the souls of children and adults. Remainshope that someday Alexander Sharov (writer) will also be republished and remembered by the current generation that grew up on the Harry Potter books.
