Childhood and youth
The actor was born on February 13, 1988 in Samara (formerly Kuibyshev). From an early age, Alexander showed interest in creativity. His parents were far from art, but they decided to develop their son's talent. So, while still in kindergarten, Alexander Soldatkin became a member of the team of the children's musical theater "Zadumka". There, experienced teachers helped develop his musical, vocal and choreographic abilities. After leaving school, Alexander went to Moscow to become a professional actor. Fate smiled at the young talent: he immediately entered the Boris Shchukin Theater Institute, from which he graduated with honors in 2009.
First successes
Already instudent years, Alexander Soldatkin showed his acting talent, participating in theatrical productions of his university. He played the main role in the play "The Nose", directed by Oleg Gerasimov, Alexander's classmate. For the role of Ruy Blas in the graduation performance based on the drama by Victor Hugo, he was awarded the Golden Leaf Award.
Alexander had a chance to try his hand in another field. At the Boris Shchukin Institute, for some time he worked as an assistant director and assistant choreographer.
Theatrical career
After graduation, Alexander Soldatkin was accepted into the troupe of the Moscow Vakhtangov Theater. Melpomene turned out to be supportive of the young actor and he did not have to wait long for bright roles: Soldatkin was busy in almost all theater productions. He always took on complex and characteristic roles. The viewer especially fell in love with Alexander in the image of Lieutenant Champlatro (“Mademoiselle Nitouche”) and Christian (“Cyrano de Bergerac”). The characteristic actor Alexander Soldatkin was also remembered by the public on the stage of the Roman Viktyuk Theater, where he played the main role in the production of The Servant, as well as in the image of Salieri in the entreprise Antonio and Amadeus, which premiered on the stage of the Theater Do.
The actor did not forget about the art of dance. Being a laureate of many international competitions in choreography, he has long dreamed of opening a dance school. And over time, his dream came true. But unfortunately, not at home, but in Berlin, where the actor lives at the moment.

In this project, the actor was busy until 2013, simultaneously filming in television films: “Only You”, “No Statute of Limitations”, “Angel in the Heart” and “Wanted”. On the big screen, Alexander appeared in Andrei Silkin's melodrama "The Deal", where he played the main male role. The picture is dedicated to the art of dance, which, of course, is close to Soldatkin. However, as a dramatic actor, he also had something to work with, since serious passions rage in the frame.
In 2015, the actor played the role of Igor in Andrey Zapisov's melodrama "Part-time Wife". The actor managed to feel the character of the protagonist right away, because he already had to play spoiled handsome men. But the character is changing for the better, and the viewer is watching his transformation. The painting and the work of Alexander Soldatkin received positive reviews from critics. At the moment, Alexander has no new films, but the audience is looking forward to meeting with their favorite actor.
