Music is always a part of almost every person's life. But for some people, it is life itself. Such was the great composer Boris Tchaikovsky. Some believe that Pyotr Tchaikovsky was a relative of Boris Alexandrovich. This is not true, they are only namesakes.

Biography

Boris Aleksandrovich was born in 1925 in Moscow. His parents were far from music. His father was engaged in economic geography, and his mother was a doctor. Of course, they, like all educated people, loved art and music. Ethical education greatly influenced Tchaikovsky's life.

Training

Already at the age of 9, the future composer became a student of the Gnessin Music School. Here his teacher was the pianist E. F. Gnesina. At the same time, already at school, he began to study composition. The boy created his first prelude at the age of 13. It was so professionally written that Tchaikovsky performed it on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre. Later, Boris Alexandrovich included it in his Symphony with a harp.

At 24the musician graduated from his studies and worked as a radio editor. Having worked here for more than 3 years, he realized that composition remains his true vocation, especially when such great people were his teachers. So in 1952 he became involved in the creation of music.

After the death of her husband, Yanina-Irena Iosifovna organized the B. A. Tchaikovsky Society, which was engaged in the collection and storage of her husband's creative heritage. She died in 2013. The woman was buried in the same grave with Boris Aleksandrovich.

Here he brought up several talented musicians, who instilled the best qualities of a composer, love for art, man and life. Boris Aleksandrovich was a true patriot and a very honest man. He had a hard time enduring all the political changes that took place in the 1990s. He worried about the morality of society andcrisis of culture, but, unfortunately, could not do anything about it.

Creativity

Boris Tchaikovsky is a great composer. He tried to do a lot for art, reflecting his vision on the culture of the present. Despite the fact that Pyotr Tchaikovsky was not his relative, he, along with Borodin, Lyadov and Mussorgsky, significantly influenced the work of Boris Alexandrovich.

Tchaikovsky wrote very different pieces of music. They cannot be attributed to any particular genre. But still, finding certain traits is easy. In his writings, a lyrical and intellectual beginning can be traced. Of course, Boris Alexandrovich strove to preserve the very classical techniques on which world masterpieces of music were built. But he did not forget about innovations that could add special charm and specific features to his works.

Style

Obviously, the composer's style was formed under the influence of his mentors. Nikolai Mayakovsky influenced the novelty of ideas, the temperament and dynamism of Tchaikovsky's music. The main feature of the composer is his ability to take several small themes and develop them in several directions: thematic, polyphonic and ostinato. This is how large and one-part works were born. He created orchestral creations individually, in his own way, working on the composition and concept.
