In the mid-nineties of the last century, a television boom struck in the West - television shows were in great demand, where ordinary guys from the people learned to sing and could collect stadiums and thousands of halls. Russian producers, looking at their Western colleagues, did not come up with anything better than copying such a show in a similar format. That is how in 2002 the project "Star Factory" appeared on Channel One. For several months, young men and women, selected by the production center of Igor Matvienko, sought to break into the lead and become real superstars. Some succeeded, some not so much, as a result, not all participants reached the final. One of the finalists was the Factory group, consisting of four girls: Sati Kazanova, Maria Alalykina, Irina Toneva and Alexandra Savelyeva. The very first song of the newly-made quartet was "About Love", which immediately appealed to fans of the "Star Factory" project and ordinary listeners.
First line-up changes
As a result, the Fabrika group took second place at the Star Factory, losing the palm to theirgood friends - the boyish quartet "Roots". Despite the second place, the group quickly became popular and recognizable, they began to invite her to concerts and tours. The first six months everything went fine, but then Maria Alalykina decided to leave the team, because she preferred to get a higher education. Until now, fans of the team believe that the reason for Masha's departure was the conflict with Sati Casanova for the leadership position in the group.
They did not look for a replacement for Alalykina, the Fabrika group continued to perform and record songs as part of: Sati Kazanova, Irina Toneva, Alexandra Savelyeva. Soon, the public was presented with the song "The Sea Calls", recorded by the girls with a colleague from "Star Factory-1" - rapper Jam. The composition quickly spread throughout the country and became a hit in the summer of 2003. "Factory" is a rather unusual group, because it prefers not to shock the audience, but to attract its audience with creativity, which, I must say, is excellent. In each composition, there are three independent vocal parts that are intertwined into a single whole and form a harmonious sound. The group continued to grow their potential, recording videos, giving concerts throughout the country and even starring in television musicals. In parallel with this, the team managed to receive awards for their compositions. So, to date, the girls have won four Golden Gramophones.
"Factory": a new era
"Factory" - a group whose composition changed three times. In 2010, the leading soloist of the band SatiCasanova decided to start a solo career. In her place, the producer of the group took Ekaterina Lee, the former soloist of the Hi-Fi group. In the new composition, the trio continued its work and in 2011 took part in the show “Star Factory. Return”, where he showed himself from the best side. In 2013, the Fabrika group released another hit, Don't Be Born Beautiful, which is in active rotation on Russian radio stations. Despite the fact that the press constantly talks about the breakup of the team, the girls only laugh it off in response.
