Private life

In November 1978, Lydia gave Vladimir Tumaev a daughter, Masha. Teacher B. I. Ravenskikh sent the girl on academic leave. But two weeks after the birth of her daughter, Lydia came to the director's workshop to continue her studies. Her desire was so great that no one could lead her astray. And then Vladimir Tumaev, seeing such a strong desire in his wife, went to meet her and took the baby to feed.
The beginning of the creative path
Already in 1979, Lydia tries herself as an assistant director. Vladimir Tumaev speaks of his wife as "a rock behind which you can hide, relax and gain strength."
In 1981, Vladimir and Lydiathere is a joint work "Idiot". For Vladimir, it was a term paper, with which he coped perfectly well with the help of his wife. The picture was short. In January 1982, the couple's second daughter is born. They named the girl Vera. When Verochka was eight years old, she played herself in the film of her parents. Once Verochka found a sick dog, and the whole family took care of the dog, and then they could not help but leave her at home. The film with the participation of Vera Tumaeva was called "Moon Dogs".
In 1983, the couple acted together as directors in the short film The Education of Dr. Spock. The duration of the short film is only 20 minutes. The main role in the film went to Yuri Nazarov. In 1986, director Vladimir Tumaev, together with his wife, released the film "A Trip to Son", where Vladimir plays the role of a screenwriter.
From 1991 to 1995, work is underway on the film "Moon Dogs". As mentioned above, the daughter of a married couple, Vera, starred in the main role of this film. On September 28, 2004, a terrible tragedy occurred in the life of Vladimir Tumaev. His wife died tragically in a car accident. It happened on the seventy-first kilometer of the Orenburg-Orsk highway. Lydia was returning from the film festival, where she presented their film "Moon Dogs", and a terrible tragedy occurred, the fatal point was set.
The car is going uphill at a breakneck speed of 140 km/h, Lydia is in the passenger seat, the driver is driving. A herd of horses flies out of the darkness, and the first horse is knocked down, she misses the roof of the car with herself and does not give Lydia a single chance. Lydia is dying. The person who was driving does not get a scratch. Such a fateful combination of circumstances takes away his wife and mother of two children.
