"Degrees" is a popular group of musicians from Stavropol, who created their group in 2008. The main genres of their work are pop music, reggae and funk. They released two albums of songs and filmed 8 music videos.

Composition of the group

The group "Degrees" includes 5 people. All members of "Degrees" are friends who are united by common interests and music. Over the years of its existence, bass guitarist Dmitry Bakhtinov and drummer Viktor Golovanov left it.

Dmitry Bakhtinov is the band's bass guitarist, ideological creator, known as Fidel. Previously, he performed in the creative team "Locust". Left Degrees on the last day of 2013.

Viktor Golovanov - drummer of the group, performed in a creative duet with Bakhtinov. He left the group in February 2013. Former member of the Locust and City 312 groups.

Arsen Beglyarov, before joining the group, taught guitar, had joint projects with musical groups and performers.

Kirill Dzhalalov appeared in "Degrees" on the first day of 2014. Prior to that, he worked with Nepara and Vera Brezhneva, was a member of the DJ Friend project.

How did the group "Degrees" appear?

All members of the group "Degrees" come from Stavropol. Over the years of their lives, they crossed paths with each other, they knew each other. When Ruslan and Roman arrived to conquer the capital, they met in the city and united. Pashkov was at first a member of the Ten Legs group. After its collapse, he worked as a courier, plasterboard worker and salesman in a chain of mobile phone stores. Tagiyev, before appearing in the group, was a cook.

After a ten-year separation, the guys met, Ruslan began to teach Roma how to DJ. Together they composed poems and melodies, presented them to friends for judgment. Thanks to the joint cooperation of the guys, 18 compositions appeared. They showed them to their friends, among whom was Dmitry Bakhtinov. He liked the songs so much that he decided to leave his project and start his own band with the guys.

Musicians created 16 songs. With them they performed in clubs and eateries. In some cases, the guys had to pay to be allowed to perform. They showed their songs to the producers, but they rejected them untilthey did not meet with Oleg Nekrasov, who became interested in their work. The guys knew him and somehow invited the producer to a concert. And then they were waiting for success. Soon their first song was recorded and received airplay.

Group Development

2008 is the year the band was born. It owes its foundation to bass guitarist Dmitry Bakhtinov, who suggested that R. Pashkov and R. Tagiev create a creative team. Several compositions were written by friends, including "Director", "Tramp" and other songs. The guys actively rehearsed for 1.5 months, and the time has come for their first real concert. It took place on May 29, 2008, the musicians called it "Degree 100".

Their first song "Director" appeared when the musicians had a difficult period of life, they had nowhere to live. It was written on an empty stomach, when friends lived in cramped quarters in the kitchen.

Their hit "Director" hit the air of popular radio stations in Russia in the fall of 2009. He quickly gained popularity. It was played on popular radio stations in the country. He quickly climbed the steps of the charts, took first place in the charts. It was the sixth most popular single downloaded by all of Russia in 2009. The hit was number one on the Russian radio chart.

Soon the musicians filmed a video for the song "Director". He appeared on MUZ-TV and MTV, was a member of the Russian Ten program.

Group gaining popularity

After the release of the first signal, the second one immediately appeared under the name "Who are you". He did not take the first place, but the 11th position is also a good result after his debut on the second line. After this track, the song "I never again" appeared.

In March 2011, the Degrees group released their first album, Naked. It included 11 songs, including three singles that the Russians loved. The composition "Naked", which served as the title of the album, appeared in one breath. Roman Pashkov's girlfriend inspired her lover to write it.

The real success was waiting for the team at a solo concert in the Olimpiysky Sports Complex, which took place on October 30, 2012. One by one, the singles "Sweeps", "Oil", "I always remember the main thing", "Radio Rain" and "Dirty glasses" appeared.

The creative arsenal of "Degrees" includes 8 clips directed by Georgy Toidze, Vladilen Razgulin, Grigory Ivanets, Igor Shmelev and Valentin Grosu. Their hits not only occupy high lines in the charts, but also become soundtracks for youth series. The group "Degrees" was awarded the "Golden Gramophone". She was also repeatedly nominated for MUZ-TV awards.

The "Degrees" group ceases to exist

Roman Pashkov's solo project appeared in April 2015. Pa-Shock has nothing to do with the "Degrees" group. The vocalist has several musical compositions. Roman experimentedwith Gennady Lagutin and Andrey Timonin from the IFEYOPA project. The Russians saw their joint clip on April 15. And at the end of the month, the group broke up, as the members took up solo careers. The music of the "Degrees" group fell in love with many. Until now, their compositions can be heard on the air. Fans wouldn't mind if the guys got back together.
