Natalya Konchalovskaya is a famous Russian poetess, writer and translator. She mainly created works for children. She was the wife of the Soviet poet Sergei Mikhalkov, the mother of the famous Russian directors Nikita Mikhalkov and Andrei Konchalovsky.

Early years

Natalya Konchalovskaya was born in St. Petersburg in 1903. She was the daughter of the famous artist Pyotr Petrovich Konchalovsky, her maternal grandfather was another legendary Russian painter Vasily Ivanovich Surikov. First husband

By that time, Bogdanov himself was running his business in America. He already had a family, but no children were born. It was then that he met Natalya. Bogdanov was 13 years older than her, but this fact did not embarrass the lovers, and they left for America together. When the couple settled in Seattle, Alexei and Natalya had already formalized their relationship.

True, because of the first family of Alexei, relations did not always develop favorably. Once clearing the table, being pregnant, Natalya found a letter from her husband's first wife, in which she cursed his new family and all his children. The girl was very worried, she had a miscarriage at night. In total, there were as many as six spontaneous abortions in the life of a young woman.

Only after returning to Russia, the couple had a daughter, Ekaterina. This happened in 1931. The family settled in a country estate, where they were often visited by representatives of the capital's creative elite, as Natalya tried in every possible way to introduce her businessman husband to art. When she realized that all her efforts were in vain, she filed for divorce.

Sergey Mikhalkov

Sergey Mikhalkov became her second chosen one, who at that time was still a very little-known poet, besides, he was younger than herfor ten years. They played a wedding in 1936, and a year later Natalya found out that Bogdanov had committed suicide shortly after his arrest.

Life together in a second marriage was not easy, but the couple always knew how to find a compromise in relationships and lived together for more than 50 years. The daughter of Natalia from her first marriage was adopted by her second husband and raised as his own, they also had two sons - Nikita and Andrey.

Children

The daughter of Natalia Konchalovskaya, whose photo is in this article, married the famous Soviet writer Yulian Semenov, the founder of the Top Secret newspaper and the Detective and Politics magazine. In Soviet periodicals, he was one of the founders and popularizers of the genre of investigative journalism. Since 1960 he has worked as a writer.

He is the author of the famous novel "Seventeen Moments of Spring", based on which Tatyana Lioznova filmed the series of the same name, he devoted a whole cycle to Stirlitz and Isaev. There are also a series of works about State Security Colonel Vitaly Slavin, police colonel Vladislav Kostenko, and journalist Dmitry Stepanov. Often Semyonov reworked his novels into scripts. In 1937, Natalia Konchalovskaya and Sergei Mikhalkovson Andrei was born, who took his mother's surname when he grew up. Andrei Konchalovsky became a famous director. Natalya Petrovna spent the last years of her life in a country house in the Odintsovo district. She died at the age of 85 in 1988. According to the recollections of her sons, she passed away easily and calmly.
