In the Soviet period and in our time, a huge number of feature films and documentaries dedicated to this dramatic page in the history of Russia have been shot. He realizes that he will never win this war, but he continues to issue orders and execute the recalcitrant.
Running is a happy exception to the rules of Soviet film distribution. Despite the fact that in the picture the supporters of the white movement are not shown from a sharply negative side, the film was allowed to be shown.
Two comrades served
This is a film about the Russian Civil War, in which events are shown from the point of view of two opposing sides. The soldiers of the Red Army Nekrasov (the son of a priest) and Karyakin, on the instructions of the command, must film enemy positions from an airplane to a movie camera. They first fall into the hands of the Makhnovists, and then, mistaken by their units for White Guards in disguise, miraculously escape execution.
At the same time, an officer of the former tsarist army, Brusnetsov, after the defeat of the White Guards near Perekop, flees to Sevastopol. On the way, Karyakin notices him, but Nekrasov, who takes pity on the White Guard, prevents him from firing. Brusentsov uses the last cartridge and kills Nekrasov, who saved him. Having managed to catch the steamer leaving the country, he cannot stand it when his horse rushes into the water and swims after the ship, and shoots himself.
Commissar
This feature film about the Russian Civil War has a complicated history. Filmed in 1967, it was banned for 20 years. For director Alexander Askoldov, the tape was the first and last work in the cinema. For shooting his thesis, he was fired from the studio and expelled from the party. They planned to destroy the picture, but, according to the director, he secretly took out a copy of his film from the editing. The showing of "Commissar" became possible only during the years of perestroika.
The plot of the picture is the story of a military commissarClaudia Vavilova performed by Nonna Mordyukova. The film has a high artistic value and has received recognition among filmmakers and has been awarded many international awards. A comedy film based on the story of the same name by Arkady Gaidar. Private Bumbarash, whom everyone, including his girlfriend, consider dead, returns home from Austrian captivity. He fought enough and now dreams of the simplest things: marriage, building his own house, a new life. His native places meet him with a chaos of events - the power is constantly changing. Semyon Bumbarash thought he was coming from the front, but he came back to the war in his native village.
His Excellency's Adjutant
A five-episode film about the work of intelligence officer Pavel Koltsov during the Civil War. Chekist in 1919 was sent to the Volunteer Army. On the way, Koltsov and other officers fell into the hands of the "greens", but thanks to the bold actions of the scout, they manage to escape. The Commander-in-Chief of the Volunteer Army appoints Koltsov as his adjutant. He conducts several secret operations and successfully passes the counterintelligence test of his legend.

In his absence, friends begin an investigation. They find out that the weapon belonged to a naval officer who served on the battleship Empress Maria. But dangerous opponents are hunting for the dagger - the White Guard, and now the leader of the gang, Nikitsky and his right hand Filin.

"Admiral" is a wonderful modern picture about the Civil War in Russia. In the center of the plot is the story of Alexander Vasilyevich Kolchak, one of the brightest participants in the White Guard movement, admiral and Supreme Ruler of Russia. The events in the picture cover the period from 1916 to 1920 - the February and October revolutions and the Civil War.
