He spent the second and third seasons of the program with co-host Zhanna Badoeva, the fourth and fifth with Lesya Nikityuk, and the last two seasons with his girlfriend Nastya Korotka. Nastya Korotkaya

After the fifth season, his co-host Lesya Nikityuk refused to take part in the project, and another casting was held, in which, of course, Nastya participated. Together they spent two seasons: the sixth - "Resort" and the seventh - "Back to the USSR". Interestingly, in the sixth season, out of eight trips, Nastya got a gold card only once, in the penultimatetrip, the rest of the time she tried to rest on $100.

Program idea

The idea of the project is to show the viewers the "chips" of each country. Where is it more profitable to buy local souvenirs, how can you spend less money on a trip, where to eat deliciously, what can you visit in this or that corner of the country?

The main task of the presenters is to find out who managed to collect more "chips", whose chips are cooler and who spent less money on vacation?

At the beginning of the program, the presenters have a whole map of the city they are in. They divide it in half and can only act within their own half. Everyone has a mobile phone with the Internet, and after finding the next “chip”, everyone reports by sending a photo and its description to another. Whoever collects the most interesting photos, who finds the most interesting places, the most interesting people and gets the most impressions at the lowest price wins.

Find ten differences

Initially, in advertising, the program "How the Chip Lies" was presented as an analogue of "Eagle and Tails". No one hid the obvious similarities between the two programs, but there was hope that the programs would still be different.

Does the project idea remind you of anything? Two hosts visiting the same city, finding interesting places, finding out the question - who will rest better when calculating the cost of vacation?

Well, of course, the feeling of deja vu develops when determining the transmission symbols - here is a coin, and here is a chip. The difference is small. As they say, the same thing, but in a different shell.

Why they closed "How the chip will fall"

Despite the excellent ratings, viewers saw only one episode of the program, although it is known that the presenters have visited other cities. But these shootings were not edited, and there was no more continuation. Why did they close "How the chip will fall"? The transfer was interesting, in demand, so what happened?

After the broadcast, the producer of the Eagle and Tails project, Natella Krapivina, announced on her social media page that she considers the How the Chip Lies project to be a clear plagiarism, and after negotiations with the Friday channel, they came to a mutual decision that the project should be closed.

The press center of the channel "Friday" announced that the filming was simply temporarily suspended, and the audience will see the continuation of the project in the summer of 2014. So what really happened, and will the beloved by many programs continue?

Producer version

Producer of the project "Eagle and Tails" Natella Krapivina does not like to talk aboutreasons for the struggle of two gears. She rarely gives interviews on this topic, and on her official Facebook page she very briefly talks about why the Chip was closed.

So, her version: "How the chip will fall" is an open plagiarism of her project, which has long been known and very popular. In addition, she calls the idea of the project “parasitizing on my idea.”

At the same time, it is strange that the main persons of the Friday channel, knowing in advance that the programs were really similar, did not take any measures to correct the situation, but invested, as I think, good money in a new project that was practically doomed to fail. Knowing the nature of Natella, this could be assumed.

On the other hand, in an interview, Natella talked a lot about the fact that a new solution was found for the project, but it is still unknown what she had in mind.

Protecting the brand and face of the product is the right idea. But to be honest, many viewers are very disappointed that they will not see "How the Chip Lies" anymore. The program was closed, most likely forever.

First and only release

The first issue was released on January 26, 2014. Andrey and Nastya ended up in the city of Lisbon - the capital of Portugal.

What did the first issue of "How the chip will fall" tell us about?

TV show is a competition. Who better to know all the secrets of an affordable yet luxurious vacation? Who will get more photos of something unique and interesting? And who will spend less money?

• ride around town with a millionaire volunteer in a Jaguar (free);
• visited the National Palace of Queluz on a free tour (0 euros);
• had lunch at the most expensive fish restaurant in the city, having received a dish from the most famous chef in Portugal in exchange for lard brought from Ukraine (free of charge);
• ride a huge Ferris wheel on the ocean (free);
• rented a vintage dress (free);
• leftat sea with fisherman Antonio (free);
• dined with caught crabs at a local restaurant for free, buying only a drink (10 euros).

In the end, Nastya won, sending 9 photos against 8 and spending 80 euros (Andrey has 668 euros).

Could the program continue to exist?

There is probably no single answer to this question. In this format, as it was presented for the first time, it could have existed for a long time. After all, the idea itself is very interesting and relevant. This is shown by the excellent rating of the Eagle and Tails program and the fact that it is already being shown in several countries, and in Russia it has reached enormous popularity. In addition, she has wonderful, funny and original presenters - Short and Bednyakov. “How the chip will fall” is still an analogue of the transfer, but, according to many, it is simply too similar analogue.

In this regard, I would like to believe that the main persons of the project will slightly alter the transmission format, removing the similarity with the "Eagle". In this case, the program can take its rightful place among the interesting programs about a good vacation, which are now so popular with viewers.

Where are the hosts of the program "How the chip will fall" now

To begin with, it should be said that the hosts left the "Eagle" voluntarily and without scandals. It's just that the transmission format required new faces, and Andrei and Nastya also wanted to try themselves in a new capacity. At the same time, they continued to work on the Friday channel.

At present, Andrey and Nastya continue their careers as TV presenters. Besides,both are often invited to various programs as invited guests. Andrey Bednyakov became the winner in the growing educational and humorous program "The Big Question" in July 2014.

"How the chip will fall" is not the only brainchild of the co-hosts. They continue to work together and host a new program "Date with a Star". This is a provocative project, which brings together famous bachelors, for the sake of which ordinary girls go to any experiments, just to please their idol.

In addition, in 2013 Nastya Korotkaya also tried herself as an actress in the TV series Big Feelings and Superheroes.

Conclusion

In the struggle for the love of the viewer, ratings and views, all means are good. And there are not so few twin programs on TV channels (just remember “One-on-one” and “Just the same”). They can co-exist on different channels at the same time, and it is quite difficult to prove that someone borrowed your idea. Or it's just not necessary, especially if your program is more interesting and in demand. But not in this case.

"How the chip will fall" - a program that lasted only one day. And despite the fact that the audience really liked her, and her hosts continue to be the favorites of the public, most likely we will not see her in this format again. Perhaps the transmission will be redone, all errors are taken into account, and all borrowings from Eagle and Tails are excluded. But most likely, more we will not see a single series. Time will tell.
