Career start

Deservedly famous Russian artist Vladimir Dmitrievich Rumyantsev was born in the city of Cherepovets in 1957. The creative abilities of a gifted child began to manifest themselves in early childhood: already at the age of 4, little Vova became interested in drawing. Vladimir Rumyantsev also connected his further life activity with the fine arts. First, the artist graduated from the Serov Leningrad Art School, and then the Ilya Repin State Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, where he studied graphics. Thus, having received a good education, Vladimir Rumyantsev becomes a qualified commercial artist.

Deserved success came in the 90s

Undoubtedly, today Vladimir Rumyantsev is one of the most popular and sought-after masters of his craft not only in Russia and the post-Soviet space, but also abroad. The master paints his paintings mainly in watercolor. In addition to the fact that the artist himself draws masterpieces, he also taught drawing at the St. Petersburg Roerich Art School in the late eighties - exactly in the same one in which he himself studied at one time.
