The Soviet government is ready to indict Germany, but they must be sure that the opponents are ready to use poisonous substances. For this, Zvonareva is sent to aerial reconnaissance.
5th episode "Saving the Innocent"
Makeyev's group manages to rescue one of the captured soldiers from the chemical weapons testing zone. He survived only with the help of a protective mask. The surviving soldier Smereko (Anatoly Zavyalov) reports on mass poisoning and loss of life. The pilot proposes to destroy the test area from the air, but this is impossible, since evidence of ongoing experiments is needed. It was decided to pass low over the lake and land scouts without parachutes.
