This is the main enemy of Simba's pride. She is also Scar's companion in The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride. She is strong, brave, but extremely evil and vengeful. The lioness Zira from "The Lion King" is not ready to forget past grievances and believes that the ruling pride should answer for Scar's death. Zira is the mother of three children: Nuki, Kova and Vitani.

According to the backstory, the son of Zira Kovu was the heir to the pride, but in connection with the death of Scar, Simba came to the throne. Zira considered this illegal and began to confront the family. After the attack on Simba, she and her familywas expelled from her native lands.

Zira's son Kovu and Simba's daughter Kiara develop feelings. Zira from The Lion King, as a true avenger, uses this relationship to return power to her own hands. However, because of his love for Kiara, Kovu is not able to go against her family. After the death of Nuki, the first son of Zira, the lioness becomes even more embittered and decides to go to war against the ruling pride. Kiara rushes into the fight with Simba, who offers to help Zira from falling into the gorge, but the latter rejects her and breaks down.

At the end of the film, she ends up in the land of another pride, where she is to be executed for trespassing on their border. However, despite all the obstacles, Zira" is obliged to return in the new film - "The Lion King: Zira's Revenge". And return for a reason, but with a new plan of retribution.

The cartoon will be released in 2019. The release is awaited with impatience by the whole world. Zira returns alive and more embittered, her only goal being to overthrow Simba by avenging the deaths of Scar and Nuka. She is ready to confront even her son Kov, who in her eyes turned out to be a traitor. Simba leaves for the other world, and Kiara takes the place of her father. Together with Kovu, Kiara will have to confront Zira. Will Kovu be able to protect his pride from a vengeful mother, protect the Ancestral Mountain? Is there a future for the beloved pride?

Zira returns with her revenge and dethrones Simba, killing him. Vitani becomes a princess and Nala suffers at the hands of the new rulers.

Another fanfiction called "Zira's Sweet Plan" was submitted by user Kitty_Ada and consists of 4 pages. Zira's plan for revenge is to kill Simba with Kovu's paws. However, the lioness's plan fails, as Kovu refuses to help his mother under the influence of feelings for Kiara. Kovu rubs himself into Simba's trust and has the opportunity to see his beloved. But, unfortunately, Zira does not stop there, she is ready to resist even her son.
