In 1801, the composer realizes that he will not be able to hear music for a very long time, therefore, with zeal, he sets to work in order to have time to do as much as possible. For ten years he has created hundreds of works for cello and piano. Light heard his "Ninth Symphony", "Solemn Mass". In 1808, in fact, his last solo performance as a pianist took place.
