Valerie Kaprisky was born on August 19, 1962 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, a French commune west of Paris. Her real name is Valerie Sheres, Kapriski is her Polish mother's maiden name. On the paternal side, the actress has Turkish and Argentine roots. As a child, at the age of eight, together with her parents, Valerie moved to live in Cannes.
