The card game "Svara" has long won the hearts of the representatives of the Russian people. And not so much because of its simplicity as originality. However, despite all its popularity, the question is: “How to play Swara?” still remains relevant among many fans of card games. Therefore, it is about the rules and requirements for the participants of "Svara" that will be discussed in this article.
How to play Swara
Before proceeding with the analysis of the rules of this card game, you should find out what it is. "Swara" has something in common with the games "Three Leaves" and "Azo", but they also have significant differences. For example, "Swara" is played with a full deck of 36 cards, while "Azo" requires the whole suit to be removed from the deck, leaving 28 cards.
In "Svara" points are counted, and a certain amount of money is put on the line, agreed in advance by the participants. Speaking of opponents, their number in the game can be from 2 to 6. This is another factor that distinguishes Swara from Azo and Three Leaves - they can have 12 and 4 players at the table at the same timerespectively.
Game Rules
After you roughly managed to understand how to play Swara, you can proceed to a detailed analysis of the rules. At the beginning of the game, after the minimum bets per round are made, each participant is given three cards. The first move is made by the player who is on the left side of the dealer. He can decide whether to "dark" him or "not darken", and also, making a move from the trump card, demand any, even higher-ranked trump cards of his opponents.
If the player who opened the game nevertheless decided to "dark" (make half the bet without looking at his cards), the rest of the Swara participants can follow his example. This can happen until one of the players decides to keep it dark.
When all players see their cards and it's their turn to act, they can:
- fold - skip a turn without adding money to the pot;
- support - bet the same amount as the previous player;
- raise rates.
When a gamer thoroughly understands how to play Swara, the rules and requirements will become absolutely clear to him, and there will also be some experience of competing with other participants, you can start a new game method. We are talking about a bluff, which here, as well as in poker, plays one of the key values.
When a player refuses to fold, it does not mean that he has good cards in his hand. Quite often, participants take the whole bank for themselves in this way, introducing othersconfusing them and forcing them to fold.
