In May 2017, the fifth part of the franchise about the pirates of the Caribbean was released. In the film "Dead Men Tell No Tales", the main cast members returned to their roles. Movie plot

Luck favors Henry. He learns about the Trident of Poseidon, whichcan break any curse. But finding the Trident is not easy. And for this, Turner will need the help of Captain Jack Sparrow.

Just before Henry can find Jack, he runs into Karina Smith, who is also looking for the Trident.

Many new looks were created for Dead Men Tell No Tales. Actors, roles and photos - all this surfaced in the media long before the premiere of the film. So, fans became aware that actor Javier Bardem played the role of Captain Armando Salazar.

His character inspired fear in the pirates of the Caribbean. He destroyed all the pirate ships that came across on the way. But one mission completely changed Armando's life.

Salazar chased the pirate ship, he managed to drive the criminals to the bay and mortally wound the captain of the ship. But he did not expect that the captain would be replaced by a young pirate who could outwit Salazar.

Jack Sparrow caused Salazar to be cursed. And for many years he accumulated hatred and rage, so that one day he would throw it out on his main enemy.

Captain Hector Barbossa

Many actors of the film "Dead Men Tell No Tales" have already tried on the images of pirates more than once. The same happened with Geoffrey Rush, who played Captain Hector Barbossa for the fifth time.

Barbossa is no longer just the captain of one ship. In a few years, he managed to put together an entire empire. He has dozens of ships and hundreds of pirates under his command. He is rich and respected by his brethren.

But everything changes when he learns that someone is destroying his ships and sinking the loot into the sea. Barbossa is told that a ghost ship is to blame. Then Barbossa makes the only profitable decision: to make a deal with the enemy. But he had no idea that on his way he would meet the one that was dear to him more than anything in the world.

Henry Turner

The young boy who wanted to save his father from the curse has grown up. Brenton Thwaites played the role of Henry Turner in Dead Men Tell No Tales. The young man is still obsessed with one goal - to save his father. To do this, he is ready to break the law, become a pirate and contact the most dangerous criminals.

Henry knows only one thing - only Jack Sparrow can find the Trident. However, the search does not bring results. Henry is pursued by the guards. Hiding from them, he runs into Karina, who is also looking for the Trident. Together they manage to find Jack Sparrow and go on a dangerous adventure.

Karina Smith

Karina is a girl of science. She doesn't believe in curses, spells and magic. The girl has studied astrology since childhood, is perfectly guided by the stars and dreams of becoming a real scientist. But the environment does not understand and does not accept Karina's hobbies. Sayings and actions lead her to the gallows. The court recognizes the girl as a witch.

In the fifth part of the franchise, Kaya Scodelario played the role of Karina Smith. Her character grew up in an orphanage. She didn't know her mother or father. The only thing left of her parents is a diary, which influenced her desire to study science. Karina hates pirates and doesn't accept their way of life.

Karina was able to decipher the information from the diary. The girl learned the location of the Trident. But only pirates can help her get to the treasured treasure.

While traveling on the same ship with Jack Sparrow and Henry Turner, Karina will discover many new things: mermaids, magic, superstition. And most importantly, curses do exist.
