But the first time Spiderman won and turned Quentin in to the police. But jail time didn't fix Beck's desire to harm the superhero. After an early release, Mysterio began to re-develop a plan to kill the Spider. To do this, he needed the help of the Sinister Six. The plan failed again, and Beck ended up behind bars. In prison, Quentin learned to hypnotize. After the release, he tried with the help of a new image - Rinehart - to drive Spiderman crazy. But these attempts were also unsuccessful. Then Beck decidedfake die. Meanwhile, he escaped from prison and learned that there was a treasure under Spiderman's house. It belonged to Uncle Ben, who was killed by a robber. But in this case, Quentin was detained again.

Mysterio, for whom superheroes were like a thorn, did not calm down and sought retribution. But after a while I found out that he had a brain tumor and lung cancer. These diseases were caused by his work with chemical elements, and perhaps it was a punishment from above. Beck had a year to live. Nevertheless, during this time, Quentin managed to get confused with Daredevil and chose him as his victim. But here, too, he failed. Unable to bear it, Quentin committed suicide.

Follower Daniel Burhart

Daniel became Beck's follower. After some time, information appeared that Mysterio (Marvel comics) reappeared on the side of the Sinister Six. In addition, his new connection to Daredevil has been proven.

In an issue of Marvel's Spiderman comic, Burhart took his place after Quentin's suicide. He was an old friend of Beck and took his mantle for retribution. But he did not know then that he would side with Spiderman.
