There is no such person who is fond of modern hip-hop music, who would not be familiar with Alexander Glukhov, who is one of the most famous DJs in the world. Under the pseudonym DJ List, Alexander released many interesting releases, and also gained worldwide popularity and recognition of a huge number of critics, having influenced not only the career development of many young musicians, but also becoming the father and founder of a large number of genres of experimental, meditation and dance music. Alexander's melody is unique in its structure and has many fans around the globe.

Biography

Alexander Glukhov was born on October 30, 1975 in Moscow, in the family of a radio engineer and a teacher. From a young age, little Sasha was actively fond of music. His father's connections made it possible to get rare recordings by famous foreign musicians at that time, and Sasha had the opportunity to listen to the best Western music, which directly affected his development as a musician and future creative work. Glukhov's youth passed quite calmly in a cozy family atmosphere, however, despite a good upbringing and an innate talent for learning, the future star did not have much success at school, but already at the age of 15 Sasha's first home recordings begin to be a success with friends and a narrow circle of fans of the popular music.

In his youth, Alexander Glukhov recorded several hundred trial mixtapes, which were not widely used due to the poor quality of Sasha's home equipment.

Career start

In the early nineties, Sasha gets into the so-called club party and becomes a regular at the Lucky Star club, not missing a single event. The future musician paid special attention to observing the work of a local club DJ, whose profession attracted Glukhov from the very beginning of his passion for popular music. Gradually, Alexander tries to fulfill the duties of a DJ himself, playing mixes of various popular songs recorded at home. The works of a beginner DJ are popular, and Sasha decides to start a full-fledged career as a musician. In 1991, Alexander takes the pseudonym DJ List, and also publishes selected works on cassettes at his own expense.

Soon, Alexander Glukhov, whose photo would later grace the covers of many well-known music magazines, purchased medium-quality equipment, which made it possible to record music at the proper level for a professional publication.

Soon he is noticed by the creative team of one of the mostpopular radio channels of that time - "M-Radio", and Alexander joins their ranks, immediately receiving the necessary support from the artistic direction of the channel.

DJ experience

Under the leadership of the channel "M-Radio" Alexander begins to work in several well-known clubs in Moscow, actively recording both studio and live albums. A few years later, Glukhov was invited to the Night Flight program, hosted by Dmitry Dibrov at that time.

After the broadcast, DJ List becomes one of the most sought-after musicians in Moscow and gets access to work in popular elite clubs in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Popularity

Thanks to a large number of original works released, as well as rotation on the most famous radio channels, Alexander is gradually becoming a leading artist in the field of music synthesis.

Global recognition

In 2003, Alexander Glukhov received the prestigious Night Life Awards in the Best Club DJ of the Year nomination, after which various couturiers from fashion houses in France, Italy, Germany and Spain paid attention to the promising performer. In the next few years, Glukhov created mixtapes for the premiere shows of the collections of Yves Saint Laurent, Karl Lagerfeld, Giorgio Armani and many other leading designers.

In 2005, together with other famous DJs, Glukhov performed at a concert in the Ibiza club in Tokyo, and in the same year he wrote music for the Elena Kudina show.

Two years later, DJ List (Alexander Glukhov) opened the global techno music festival Global Gathering.

In subsequent years, Glukhov actively cooperates with engineering concerns, creating sound design for Volkswagen, Toyota, Mersedes, and also released a number of compilations with musical works for Nina Richi and Elite Model look events.

In 2010, DJ List became the first Russian DJ to be included in the English Dj`s league, and, according to the well-known British magazine Dj Mag, Alexander entered the top 100 best DJs on the planet.

Hobby

The DJ came to vegetarianism, so actively promoted by Alexander Glukhov, back in 1997, and since then his family has been following this direction. Religious practices have become an integral part of the musician's life since his youth, when he first became acquainted with trance music. Glukhov believes that vegetarianism cleanses the body, and spiritual practices heal the soul, and actively promotes his way of life in his work and periodically published non-fiction literature.

Private life

Together with Alexander Glukhov, whose biography is so interesting to journalists and various information publications, lives the actress and singer Irena Ponaroshku. Together, the couple raise their son Seraphim, and also lead several projects on television.
