The series "Sinbad" begins with the fact that a young man living in the legendary city of Basra leads a somewhat hectic life. One day, his brother dies because of a misdemeanor. For this, Sinbad's own grandmother curses him, fixing an amulet around his neck. With this "decoration" the young man goes to the sea, where he meets various monsters and adversities. But as a gift of fate, a very colorful and friendly team is always with him. The actors of the series "Sinbad" played their roles superbly, among them: Elliot Knight, Marama Corlett, Elliot Cowan, Naveen Andrews, Dimitri Leonidas and others.

The Adventures of Sinbad

Probably everyone who was a teenager or a child in the 90s watched this creation of Hollywood. A series that won the hearts of the public with its plot, actors, outfits, and even its philosophy. Looking at it now, one might get the impression that it is outdated. Indeed, more than 20 years have passed since its release. The special effects seem ridiculous, the graphics are also not at the highest level. But none of that matters compared to the nostalgia this TV show brings. "The Adventures of Sinbad" became a new legend about this oriental hero, which was divided into two parts (2 seasons), and each of them had its own charm.

The structure of the series and the actors

The first season captivated all viewers. Sinbad returns after the seavoyages to Baghdad and realizes that the city is under the rule of the evil wizard Turok. He rules on behalf of some stupid prince and obliges him to marry his daughter - Rumina. The latter falls in love with Sinbad, alas, unrequitedly, and this is where all the fuss begins. The brave sailor manages to overthrow the power of Turok and free the Baghdadians, but Rumina's revenge overtakes him in all his further sea voyages. By the way, on the ship he is accompanied by a unique team, which includes his thug brother Dubar, the chemist Faruz, the warrior Rongar and the good witch Maeve with her magical falcon Dermott. Captain Sinbad falls in love with the last one at the end of the season, but loses it due to Rumina's curse.

The second season takes on a touch of an action movie, becomes more aggressive and bloody. The main characters are also changing. Maeve disappears, and instead Brin, a girl whom Sinbad accidentally saved, is engaged in sorcery on board. Alas, the end of the series remains open, as the captain never found his beloved and continued to surf the seas in search of her.
