Vedeneev Vasily Vladimirovich was born on March 1, 1947 in Moscow. The birthplace of the future writer was the famous Taganka district. He spent his childhood in the cozy courtyards of old Moscow that had not yet been rebuilt, remembering many famous people. Talking about those times, Vasily said that from the very first days of his life he was surrounded by the love and care of his parents. Studying at school, at the institute
He studied at the well-known 330th secondary Moscow school. This educational institution is known for the fact that such illustrious persons as J. After graduating from school, Vasily began to work, changed several different positions and professions. In the end, he became a laboratory assistant at the Department of General and Analytical Chemistry of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute named after V. Lenin at the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology. He combined his work with studies at the evening department of this institute, at the Faculty of Chemistry. According to Vasily Vedeneev, at that time he dreamed of reaching heights in studying the problems of metal corrosion, becoming a chemical scientist. However, his plans were not destined to come true.
The beginning of a career in the Ministry of Internal Affairs
In the middle of 1968, the party and Komsomol organizations of the institute sent him to work in the police authorities. He had to graduate from the Faculty of Chemistry at Moscow State Pedagogical Institute named after V. I. Lenin, already being a law enforcement officer.
In the early seventies of the last century, Vasily Vedeneev graduated from the Kalinin School for Advanced Training of Police Leaders (currently the Tver branch of the Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia named after V. Ya. Kikot). At the end of the seventies he entered the full-time postgraduate department of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR. After 3 years, he successfully graduated with a thesis defense on a closed topic, which de alt with the problems of preventive measures against repeat offenders.
Working in law enforcement
Being a candidate of legal sciences, he became the author of several manuals of an educational and methodological nature on closed problems related to the activities of operational officers of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs. He also published a number of articles in specialized literature on special topics of operational-search activity.
After graduating from graduate school, he continued to serve in the divisions of the Moscow Criminal Investigation Department, in the central divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR and the Russian Federation. He served in law enforcement agencies in various positions, mainly in leadership. Military rank - police colonel.
He was a combat veteran. During the counter-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus, he led a combined police unit. At the same time, he did not stop searching for his place in literature.
Writing activity
Vasily Vedeneev began his writing career in the mid-seventies of the last century. About that time hesaid that he really wanted to convey to the public what is really happening in an environment where law enforcement agencies and the criminal environment are opposed to each other. He did not share the laudatory reviews regarding popular works about the adventures of "cops" and "Kamensky", considering the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs described in these works to be far from reality.
However, he quickly became convinced that the truth is uninteresting for various reasons. She, as a rule, does not touch readers, does not "cling". But he tried to convey his stories to them as close as possible to the harsh reality.
Telling about himself, Vasily Vedeneev said that no one taught him how to write. Help in this difficult matter was provided to him by good people who nevertheless met on his life path. However, he worked on his works only by himself, tried to rely on his own strength.
For the works, I took plots from my own practical work, as well as from materials provided by colleagues.
The author Vasily Vedeneev wrote his books very carefully, without templates, in an original way. In one of the interviews, he said that a good novel cannot be created in 2-3 months. He wrote one novel in 7 months, the book went through 6 editions. However, the author believes that this is nonsense. It takes more than a year to create one book, even if all the material is available.
Worked the old fashioned way. Vasily Vedeneev believed that only works written by hand have the right to exist. However, he himself used a typewriter, as he differed, in his opinion, in disgusting handwriting. Until the very last days of his life, Vasily Vedeneev did not recognize the computer. He considered him a thoughtless, soulless machine. He said - this is an assistant, but not a comrade in creative work.
