Alexander Bashirov belongs to the category of those actors whose personality cannot be left indifferent. He is either loved or hated - there is simply no other way. Alexander Nikolaevich deserved such an ambiguous attitude towards himself not only thanks to the images created on the screen, but also because of the numerous antics that are on the verge of what is permitted outside the set. You rarely see a photo of Alexander Bashirov on the wall of any teenager. He has never been a fashionable actor, but this does not prevent him from acting in the highest grossing films. The actor even sometimes has to participate in several projects at the same time. Many roles have brought him prestigious awards and awards.
Childhood
Alexander Bashirov comes from the small village of Sogom, which is located in the Tyumen region. It was there on September 24, 1955 that the future famous actor was born.
His family is very difficult to call prosperous even by the standards of that time. MotherAlexandra divorced her husband almost immediately after the birth of her son and therefore raised the boy alone. Dependent on the woman was also her one-armed father. Disability and principled political views (he was an ardent opponent of the Soviet regime) did not allow him to work. He also preferred fishing to household chores. Nevertheless, according to the memoirs of Alexander himself, his mother provided the family with everything necessary, although for this she had to work all day on the railway.
Youth
Since 1972, Alexander Bashirov decides to live independently. For this, a seventeen-year-old guy moves to Leningrad and enters a school, where he chooses the working speci alty of a tiler-facing worker. The profession brings an actor who has not yet taken place to work at a cement plant, which is located in Vyborg.
The constant desire to change something in your life, as well as the summons from the military enlistment office abruptly reshape the fate of Bashirov. From 1981 to 1983 he served in a tank division of the Red Army. There, for the first time, they saw a creative core in a frail boy and sent him to work as a graphic designer in a supply room.
Since 1984, the biography of Alexander Bashirov begins to be written from scratch. It was then that he successfully passed the selection and entered the VGIK at the directing department. The training of a newly minted student during the first two years takes place in the studio of Igor Talankin, and then at the well-deserved master of feature films Anatoly Vasiliev.
Bashirov Alexander Nikolaevich in one ofinterview about his unexpected decision to move into the world of cinema said that radical things began to happen by themselves when he decided to direct life. You should never depend on fashion, you should create it. These words can describe all the life beliefs of the actor.
Movie debut and life in America
The first role was then a student of VGIK in 1986. Sergei Solovyov instructed him to play the Freak in his film Alien White and Pockmarked. The experience turned out to be ambiguous, but this did not embarrass the future screen star at all.
A truly finest hour came to Bashirov a year later, when the same Solovyov called him to star in the cult film Assa. The eccentric and emotional actor was noticed by both the audience and other directors, even though his hero, a false Air Force major, appeared on the screen only sporadically.
In 1988, Alexander Bashirov received an invitation to participate in another legendary film - "The Needle". He perfectly managed to play the role of Spartacus - a small, absolutely nothing of himself, but at the same time a very dangerous person. This image will then permanently stick to the actor.
Almost immediately after graduating from the Institute of Cinematography, Bashirov decides to leave his homeland and flies overseas. But even there, he does not deviate from the intended path, so from 1990 to 1991 he was engaged in acting at the studio of Laurence Arancio.
Personal life during this period is also in full swing. The actor marries an American citizen. Their marriage lastednot for long, and one of the reasons for the divorce was a mismatch of characters. Nevertheless, in America, Alexander Nikolaevich left his son Christopher, with whom he keeps in touch whenever possible.
Promising director
Many people know Bashirov as a wonderful actor, but few people realize that he left some bright traces in the director's field. Unfortunately, his early student works The Outsider and Ode to Joy have not survived. But the next test of the pen made a splash in 1998. The creation bore the provocative name "J. P. O.", which stands for "Iron Heel of the Oligarchy".
On account of Bashirov-director such films as the documentary "Belgrade, Belgrade!" and the TV series Good Luck, Detective. In addition, many musicians are always ready to work with Alexander Nikolayevich. The most famous creation in this area can be considered a video filmed for the song "Nastasya" by Vyacheslav Butusov.
Deboshirfilm youth film studio
The project called "Debaucher-Film-Studio" was born in 1996. It was a period when cinema in the country was just beginning to regain its lost ground. Bashirov, having chosen the path of youth and underground cinema, literally fell into the stream. His studio very quickly became popular, and therefore the festival of the same name was organized on its basis. It is held twice a year and today is one of the largest in the field of independent cinema. Bashirov is the permanent head of the studio anddirector.
Inna Volkova is a friend of life
Inna Aleksandrovna is Bashirov's second wife. The woman is 9 years younger than her husband. She is a fairly popular person in certain circles, since she has been engaged in musical creativity since 1988 and performs in the Hummingbird group.
Alexander Bashirov and Inna Volkova can boast not only a happy marriage, in which their daughter Alexandra-Maria was born, but also an excellent creative understanding. It is fully reflected in the film "The Iron Heel of the Oligarchy". Inna Volkova played one of the roles in the film, and also wrote a song for it called “Not a Hero.”
Filmography
The first pictures in which Bashirov took part, as noted above, were Alien White and Pockmarked, Assa and Needle. This was followed by "Accomplice", "Bread is a noun" and "Black rose is the emblem of sadness, red rose is the emblem of love." The directors more often trusted him with secondary and episodic roles, but the viewer still fell in love with the actor.
Maybe it was because of the people's sympathy that Bashirov was so popular in the 90s. Despite the fact that not so many films were shot during this period, he did not remain without work. Among the films with his participation, it is necessary first of all to single out the series “Streets of Broken Lights” and the full-length films “Mom, Don’t Cry!”, “Khrustalev, car!” and Yermak.
For modern Russian cinema, this eccentric actor also means a lot. This assertion is supported byfilmography. Alexander Bashirov has recently played in such sensational films as Down House, Sisters, Penal Battalion, 9th Company, Zhmurki, Peter FM, Cargo 200. Of particular note is the actor's work in the historical work "The Golden Age", where he brilliantly coped with the role of Emperor Paul I, and the role of the cat Behemoth in the film adaptation of the novel "The Master and Margarita".
Awards and prizes
Alexander Nikolaevich Bashirov is a regular participant in most film festivals. He can often be found in the lists of nominees for various awards and prizes, but all the really serious achievements of the actor come at the end of the 90s. Among them are the 1998 press prize at the Vivat, Cinema of Russia! festival, the 1998 film critics guild prize at the Window to Europe film forum, and the 1998 Silver Nail prize for the best debut in the field of youth cinema.
