Abdullayev Chingiz Akifovich was born in Baku on April 7, 1959. After school, he entered the Kirov Institute, the Faculty of Law. During his studies, he was the president of a sports club and an editor in the Komsomolskiy Projector newspaper. He graduated from the Institute with honors. In addition to his native Azerbaijani language, he knows English, Russian, Italian, Farsi, and Turkish. Chingiz Abdullayev became a hereditary lawyer, even his great-grandfather in the 90s of the XIX century was an assistant juror.
Family and career
The wife of Chingiz Akifovich, Zuleikha Aliyeva, an ophthalmologist. Chingiz Abdullayev has two children: son Jamil and daughter Nargiz. After graduating from a private school in Baku, his son studies at the School of Political Science and Economics in London. The daughter graduated from City University of London with a bachelor's degree, and then received a master's degree from the London School of Political Science and Economics.
After studying for distribution, a closed institute was sentaviation industry, which was under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defense. The first novel written by Chingiz Abdullayev was confiscated by the KGB on the grounds that it contained classified data and materials. But in 1988, the book "Blue Angels" was still printed, and then reprinted several times.
Chingiz Akifovich's books are published in 17 languages around the world. Based on his works, the cult TV movie "Drongo" was filmed. Since 1989, Chingiz Abdullayev has been the current secretary of the Writers' Union in Azerbaijan, since 2003 - the chairman of the international literary fund. In 2011, he was elected a member of the council for the coordination of Azerbaijanis around the world.
Legacy
One of the most popular writers in Russia is Chingiz Abdullaev, the bibliography includes more than a hundred works. Two television series and several films have been made based on his books. There are 109 books in the Drongo series alone.
