If we translate this word from Greek, it will mean dimensionality, consistency. Anyone who is interested in the question "What is rhythm?" For example, with concepts such as the change of seasons, day and night, the beating of a pendulum, breathing, the above term is also used. What is rhythm? Rhythm in music is a clear alternation of long and short sounds. Otherwise, it is the alternation of the duration of the notes in a certain order. In drum sounds, rhythm is of paramount importance. In music, there is such a term as the "rhythm section" of the ensemble, which consists of bass guitar, drums, accordion. The concept of rhythm is also characteristic of literature. Rhythm is what distinguishes poetry from prose. The versification has such rhythmic components as a line, foot and syllable. In rhyming lines, the number of syllables must be the same, and the stresses must be harmonious, otherwise it is impossible to achieve the desired rhythm.

There are also poetic meters, each of which has its own rhythm: anapaest, trochee, dactyl, iambic.

All processes occurring in nature are cyclical: night follows day, and winter comes after autumn.

It is characterized by such concepts as the frequency of radiation of the ionosphere, the cycles of solar activity, the pulsation of the geomagnetic field. Natural rhythms have a close relationship with human biorhythms. This postulate proves the fact that a huge number of people are energetically active during the daytime, while at night everyone prefers to rest and restore their spent energy. Each person has his own biorhythms, while for all people they are dependent on the physiological processes occurring in the body.

Among other things, there are rhythms inarchitecture and painting. In such creative pursuits, rhythm is of paramount importance, because without it, the work of true professionals simply cannot be identified, it is a kind of "brand name".

Thus, rhythm plays an important role in human life, because it is the basis of the universe.
