It often happens that the starting point for the development of someone's creative career is the "Club of the cheerful and resourceful", which has been pleasing the audience with humorous numbers for more than 50 years. One of these people from KVN is Kirill Kokovkin, who fell in love with all owners of a good sense of humor, speaking as part of the Soyuz team. She has been successfully participating in various stage projects for many years, and now she has also got her own show on the television screen. How did Kokovkin's path develop from a young artist to the creative director of his own show? Everything about the life and work of Cyril in this article.

Young years

Kirill Kokovkin doesn't like to talk about his biography. On the Internet, you can find only rare facts from the life of Cyril before his participation in KVN. He was born on November 11, 1983 in the city of Yekaterinburg. At a young age, Cyril was fond of football, and also attended a music school, where he learned to play various instruments, such as the timpani. His favorite song is Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple.

After school KirillKokovkin received a degree in computer science and foreign languages and even taught for a while. However, he still did not think to work in this area, he was attracted by a completely different activity - creative.

Marital status

Not much is known about Kirill Kokovkin's personal life. In an interview, he admitted that a busy work schedule leaves much less time for his family than he would like. Kokovkin has a wife, Julia, and not so long ago he became a father for the second time. The couple is very protective of their privacy and tries not to flaunt it. Now Kirill lives practically in two cities, "torn" between Yekaterinburg, where his family is located, and Moscow, where all his creative activities take place.

Passion for KVN

Like many other participants in this beloved game, Kirill got into KVN by accident. During a speech at his native university, while still a freshman, he liked his senior comrades with his artistry and ease. They invited him to join their team, and the game dragged on the student Kokovkin for many years. During his career in the Club of the Cheerful and Resourceful, Kirill managed to play for many teams: Legion-45, Office, Molières and Mol. The latter represented the city of Shadrinsk. Then he got into the Soyuz KVN team, which brought him popularity. Together with Kirill, his friend Alexander Alymov moved from Moli to Soyuz. Two regional KVN teams "Mol" (Shadrinsk city) and "Harvard" (Tyumen), having become quite famous among the local public, decided to combine their efforts to conquer new heights. So the Soyuz team was born. The name spoke for itself. This merger took place in 2011, and three years later the team became the champion of the Major League of KVN. Kirill's role on the stage is as follows: he announces the numbers, manages the rest of the participants, and also expresses dissatisfaction with the repertoire and stops his singing colleagues at the very moment when the hall has already burst into laughter and you need to move on to the next part of the performance. Kirill Kokovkin calls himself "the artistic director of the singing idiots." Kirill's teammates are Viktor Shchetkov, Artem Muratov, Aidar Garaev, as well as the only girl in the "Union" - Elena Gushchina. Remembering his funniest meeting with fans, Kirill says that it was funny when a fan who did not recognize Kokovkin asked to take a picture of him with Aidar.

"Soyuz" is a very titled team. She has a lot of KVN musical awards on her account: golden and bright KiViNs. The team also managed to get the first prize at the KVN Summer Cup. Musical numbers have become the "highlight" of the team. This is probably why, leaving KVN in 2014 and deciding to create their own show, the guys from Soyuz made it musical.

Own program

After leaving KVN, "Soyuz" participated in various humorous festivals for a long time, but the guys always wanted something more. In 2016, they organized their show on the TNT channel, which, after filming the first (pilot) series, which the editors liked, was immediately launched on the air. This significant event took place on August 10, 2017, and a month later the project became one of the most popular programs on this channel. The idea of creating such a program belonged to the members of the team themselves, since they imagined the creative future after the "Club of the Cheerful and Resourceful" exclusively jointly.

The concept of "Studio Soyuz" was supported by the chief producer of the TNT channel - Vyacheslav Dusmukhametov. It is based on finding out which of the invited star guests is better versed in the work of representatives of the Russian stage. The program is filled with jokes, musical numbers, as well as funny contests. The main "highlight" of the program is a lively reaction to what is happening, both the guests and the members of the team themselves. The Soyuz Studio has already been visited by Sergey Zhukov, Yulianna Karaulova, Yegor Creed, Mot, Alexander Panayotov and many other celebrities. Here Kokovkin performs the role of entertainer, already familiar to him. He notes that in the entire history of the project, he was most struck by TV presenter Ksenia Borodina, who was able to remember and sing almost the entire text of the song "Sex Without a Break" by the group "Bachelor Party".

To the question: "What will the team members do when all the funny and ridiculous songs of Russian performers are over?", Kirill replies in his usual manner that our stars will never run out of such "masterpieces".

Other projects

Kirill Kokovkin worked as a screenwriter for the KVN team "Kefir" for a long time. In this he was assisted by a colleague in the "Union" - Aidar Garayev. From the unusual activity of Cyril, one can note the writing of jokes for a Russian publication located in China. He also works a lot on the Studio Union project, being its creative director and the author of many jokes, despite the fact that most of them are absolute impromptu. After successful participation in KVN, Kokovkin began to invite hosts to various events. After the release of "Studio Soyuz" on the TNT channel, the prices for holding celebrations by Kokovkin increased even more, however, as did his popularity.
