Early years

Actor Kirill Pletnev was born in 1979 in Kharkov. When the boy was small, his parents moved to St. Petersburg for permanent residence. Kirill's father was an inventor, but then he went headlong into business. He divorced Cyril's mother when the guy was only 13 years old. However, the actor himself claims that he does not hold a grudge against his father, like his brother Mikhail.

From childhood, Kirill showed interest in sports: he was fond of taekwondo, dancing, swimming, and even seriously engaged in rock climbing. Actually, the actor showed good physical fitness during the filming of the historical action movie "Saboteur".

The school where the young man studied was with a theatrical bias. Therefore, Cyril abandoned the career of an athlete and decided to become a director. But onthe directing department of the guy was not accepted and he had to enter the St. Petersburg Theater Academy at the acting department.

Career start

Kirill Pletnev, whose biography developed in such a way that the young man had to choose the acting path, after graduating from high school, he was admitted to the Moscow Drama Theater, which was directed at that time by Armen Dzhigarkhanyan. Around the same time, actor Kirill Pletnev tried his hand at cinema. But no one gives him the main roles: for a long time the young man was interrupted by episodic appearances in the frame of the films “Deadly Force-5”, “Bear Kiss”, “Taiga. Survival Course.”

The roles of Kirill Pletnev, played before participating in the film "Saboteur", remained unnoticed by viewers and critics. But the actor continues to act. In 2004, he plays a black archaeologist in one of the episodes of the film Truckers 2. Then Pletnev gets a larger role in the famous TV series "Children of the Arbat" - the role of Fedka the cooperator. And, finally, in the same year, the actor successfully passed the casting in the historical thriller "Saboteur".

The film "Saboteur" was based on the book by A. Azolsky and was a huge success. Bright characters, famous actors, famously twisted plot, fights and shootouts - this film had everything, including patriotic notes in the plot.

In the film, actor Kirill Pletnev played a young man Alexei, who appropriated someone else's name in order to get intoreconnaissance troops, go through the war and reach Berlin. In Berlin, Alexey dreams of getting even with a certain Frau who betrayed his father to SS officers many years ago. Because of this, the young man lost his family and spent his entire youth wandering around orphanages.

During the course of the first combat missions, Alexei, who took the surname Bobrikov, becomes very close to his partners - Leonid Filatov and Captain K altygin. And although each of this trinity is absolutely different from each other, the saboteurs manage to rally and carry out a lot of the most dangerous assignments of the authorities.

Madhouse

Immediately after filming in "Saboteur" Pletnev receives an offer to play a major role in the Ukrainian detective series "Madhouse".

Pletnev's character is senior lieutenant Mikhail Mishin, who is trying to figure out a very complicated story of the murder of a patient in a psychiatric clinic. Svetlana, who works at the dispensary, helps him with this. A romance begins between the main characters, which only hinders the rapid disclosure of a mystical and strange crime.

Kirill Pletnev, whose films are often related to military themes or the work of law enforcement agencies, has worn a police or military uniform so many times during his acting career that he has recently been trying to avoid such roles.

Under a shower of bullets

But in the 2000s, the actor did not yet have a rich choice of roles, so he continued to act in war films. And soon he got the main role in the 4-episode action movie Under a Shower of Bullets. For the roleLieutenant Besfamilny in this picture, Pletnev received the Golden Sword award.

And again on the screen the actor appears as a brave scout, only this time he commands a whole reconnaissance platoon. The character of Pletnev himself has a difficult story: he was a homeless child in the past, he has no family and nothing to lose, so Besfamilny decides on the most desperate operations, and he always comes out of them as a winner. Therefore, throughout the film, the lieutenant is entrusted with the most difficult tasks.

Pletnev's partners on the set were Yan Tsapnik ("Ghost"), Tatiana Arntgolts ("Marriage by Will") and Vadim Andreev ("Kadetstvo").

The latest projects of the actor

Recently, the role of Kirill Pletnev in the movie are becoming more serious. In 2009, the actor starred in the series "Desantura", where he played the main role along with Yegor Beroev ("Turkish Gambit") and Anna Snatkina ("Saboteur-2").

In the same year, Pletnev appeared in the comedy "Love-Carrot-2" with Kristina Orbakaite and Gosha Kutsenko, as well as in "High Security Vacation" with Sergei Bezrukov.

Then the actor starred in a number of melodramas (“Faith. Hope. Love”, “Looking for You”), and in 2012 he played a tanker in the military film “August. Eighth”, dedicated to the events of 2008 in South Ossetia.
