Jodie Marie Benson is a famous American actress and soprano singer, who became famous all over the world for voicing the role of the Little Mermaid Ariel in the Disney cartoon of the same name.

The singer was born on October 10, 1961 in Rockford, Illinois, USA. Her passion for music and talent manifested itself in early childhood.
