Legendary Russian rap group "Center" again decided to please their fans. Several years have passed after the musicians completed their joint activities and set off on a free voyage. Each of the performers of the Center group began his solo career. In those days, not all fans understood the reasons for the breakup of the group. But today, the "Center" again appears before us in full force.

History of the founding of the group

Initially, the team had a different name. The biography of the Center group is very eventful. Its creators were Alexei Dolmatov and Roma, a Russian rap artist. In the 2000s, musicians came up with the name Rolexx. And so it was until 2004. After Alexey and Roma decided to rename the group, and it became known as "Center". Guf (Alexey Dolmatov) and Princip are considered its first creators. The musicians recorded one of their first albums called "Gift". It was an action for the closest and dearest people. The circulation of the albums consisted of only thirty copies. And they all dispersed quickly.

The album "Gift" had a symbolic number of tracks - thirteen. Literally a year later, the musicians perform at a concert. Also at this time, the composition of the Center group is replenished with two new performers. They came from other groups. Bird was in the group "Les Misérables", and Slim - "Smokescreen". But this composition did not last long. Princip left the band due to legal troubles. He received a prison term. This incident put the musicians into a kind of trance, and they suspended their work for a year.

The Center group is not just some ordinary group that reads the text to the music. The guys entered the world history of the rap industry. They were able to strengthen their positions in a short period of time and put the tracks about drugs on a high level. The uniqueness of the group lies in the fact that all musicians read about everyday life and their lives, they are not afraid to talk about what they use and what problems follow. The composition of the group changed several times, but all those who took part in it made a very big contribution to the development of the team.

Centr is a rap group from Moscow. The first to leave the Princip team for well-known reasons. After that, Guf also left the squad. An interesting fact is that Alexei Dolmatov took the pseudonym Guf after the formation of the team. Prior to that, it was called Rolexx.

The band's fast-paced career

After the release of the first album in the new lineup together with Guf, Ptah and SlimThe group's popularity began to grow. Musicians began to be invited to concerts. The composition "Heat 77" became the soundtrack to the film "Heat", which starred such famous actors as Arthur Smolyaninov, Alexei Chadov, Konstantin Kryukov and Timati. Ptah also played a cameo role. According to the film, he is a thief who often turns scams, as well as the husband of the main character's girlfriend.

After the release of the first work, the second one for the film "Shadow Boxing-2" followed in a while. This soundtrack is famous for being written for Basta's composition "My Game". Not only Guf, but also Basta took part in its creation. Rapid career gave the musicians the opportunity and impetus to create their own label CAO Records. Some performers did not like such a rapid rise of their colleagues on the stage. Conflicts began, especially on the basis of the fact that the name of the group was already the author's. For these reasons, the guys decided to rename the team to CENTR.

"Center" - a group whose biography, reviews and work were ambiguous. Many people accepted the new name, but there were those who could not get used to it for a long time. The highlight of the team was that Guf and Ptah have speech defects. This has become their kind of chip in the world of hip-hop. So, Guf burrs and does not pronounce a certain letter, and Ptah lisps.

Swings and showdowns

After CAO Records was created, performers start recording new tracks. So, in 2008 the album "Swing" was released. He becomes famous from the first days. Its circulation is more than twenty thousand copies. Also included in this album was a track called "About Love". It was marked by the fact that Ptah in it insults a rap artist from Germany. This moment really hooked the opponent, so the corresponding reaction to the insult soon followed.

Further, video works were released from both sides, where both performers are trying to prove their case, while telling not very flattering stories about each other. So, a rapper from Germany spoke about the CENTR group, noting that they promote drugs. But this did not change anything in the life of musicians, they also read and compose lyrics about their lives, about what can be changed and what cannot.

Solo career

In 2009, one of its founders, Alexei Dolmatov, left the Center group. Everything happens quickly and unexpectedly. By the end of the year, the members are already recording tracks separately. None of the musicians could really explain to their fans why Guf left. There were a lot of assumptions and myths. Only after a while Slim talks about how they just got tired of each other. After all, the schedule of rap artists was very tight, they practically did not rest. And all this greatly affects the relationship in the team.

Guf took up a solo career and released his second album called "At Home". The composition of Army Group Center remained only with Slim and Ptah. They toured together and completed the single "About Love". noteworthythe fact that the musicians signed a contract with the label and had to shoot a video for the song “Is It Easy to Be Young”. The video was still filmed, only all three performers were filmed in different places and at different times. Slim and Bird no longer crossed paths with Guf.

Aleksey Dolmatov: life and work

Aleksey started rapping at the age of 19. He lived with his grandmother in Moscow and decided to create a group. Before he took the pseudonym Guf, a lot of time passed. In Moscow, Alexei was originally famous under the name Rolexx. His first composition called "Chinese Wall" was created in collaboration with rapper aka Marlin. After the world was able to see the talented musician, Guf began to take off. The Center group was created in the 2000s, at the same time Alexey met his future wife.

The love story began with a nightclub where they first met. Beloved Guf was called Aiza. She was the daughter of an FSB general. Everything spun very quickly, and the young played a wedding. Then came the birth of a child. But apparently, the stars were not on their side, and the couple soon broke up. Isa married a surfer. In 2013, Alexey is experiencing a personal tragedy - the loss of his grandmother. She is dying of a heart attack.

Center group: composition after return

In 2015, the Center group decides to reunite. Their first album is released under the name "System" literally next year. The impetus for this was precisely Ptah, who decided that the time had come for a reunion. After Guf left the group, the guys did not keep in touch for about five years. Each pursued their own solo careers, but as Slim put it, The Center has given them so much that it's worth trying again.

Today, the full line-up of the rap group Centr, together with A'STUDIO, is recording a new single "Far". We are already working on the video. Soon fans will be able to see new and fresh creative ideas of the musicians.
