February 2, 1958, the future "dubbing legend" was born in Kyiv. Tatyana Antonova's parents were creative people. Mother is a ballerina, father is a musician. Both, mother and father, performed on the stage of the Kyiv Opera and Ballet Theater named after Taras Shevchenko. It is no wonder that little Tanya entered the stage at the age of four. In the opera Cio-Cio-San, she played the role of the heroine's little daughter. The director staged with the girl, despite her tender age, many mise-en-scenes for the opera. The girl listened to a good classicalmusic. Naturally, all this left an imprint on her perception of the world and her attitude to the acting profession.

Tatyana Antonova is a very private person. She does not shoot for fashion magazines, advertising herself and her apartments to the public, so there is simply no information about her personal life. But on the other hand, there are her interviews in which she talks about her profession, about working in dubbing, about colleagues and partners, about the directors with whom she happened to work, about her attitude to the financial side of the acting profession. Work in dubbing

The work of actress Tatyana Antonova began with dubbing. The first experience was very fashionable at that time Indian films. There was a lot of duplication. Songs, dances, love dialogues - everything in Indian cinema was fun and interesting for a young girl. Then it turned out that Tatyana had a very suitable voice for duplicating actresses in films. Antonova recalls how masterfully she worked on stage with the sound of Gurchenko, mixing the sound on the microphone, now bringing it closer, then moving it away. It's one thing when an actor works on stage, and quite another when working with a microphone. “The body can be deceived, but the sound cannot.” The understudy must feel with his whole skin the correct sound delivery to the microphone, the sound, which, moreover, must be emotionally rich in order to captivate the viewer and lead him along. Even the understudy's perception of the world around him is reflected in the duplication of the image.

Favorite works

The stepping stone for her was dubbing Sigourney Weaver in Aliens. Antonova followed the plasticity of the actress, studied her methods of working on the body and tried to understand how important all this is for conveying the character of the character.

Many actors can't voice infilms, even themselves. For example, the voice of Boris Brondukov, as Antonova recalls, was always dubbed in the cinema. Brondukov had a dissonance of voice and appearance. The dramatic, deep voice of the actor absolutely did not match the comically funny appearance.

Now technological progress has simplified the sound itself. Today, a young person immediately knows how to put sound on and what to do with the image, how to make a pause, which previously had to be searched for a long time on film. The actress cannot say whether it has become better or worse now in dubbing, but she understands that due to technological progress, everything has become different. However, the dramatic effect of the old movie was still much stronger.
