Russian journalist, producer, director and TV presenter Alexei Viktorovich Pimanov is known throughout the country. His author's project "Man and the Law" gathers millions of people at the screens.

The famous TV presenter was born on February 9, 1962 in Moscow. From childhood, the boy devoted a lot of time to sports, being fond of football and hockey. At one time, Alexey Pimanov even tried to play in Lokomotiv, where he became a candidate for master of sports. Alexey Pimanov got a jobwork at a television center, where he began with the duties of a technician. His first serious position was a video engineer. Then he began to engage in camera work, and since 1989 he moved to the editorial office of public and political projects on Central Television, starting as the host of a program called "Steps".

Soon their son Denis was born, who today has already graduated from the directing department of Moscow State University of Cinematography and is working in one of his father's projects. And recently, Pimanov appointed him the chief director of his favorite program "Man and the Law."

But this marriage was destined to fall apart. Ten years later, Alexey Pimanov, whose personal life always stood in the background for him, married Valentina Zhdanova, an editorCentral Television. But the second marriage of the fifty-two-year-old TV presenter, producer, film director and politician broke up. He divorced Valentina to marry actress Olga Pogodina.

Their joint work connected this couple. About five years ago, they filmed a film together called "The Man in My Head." Alexey was the director, and Olga acted as one of the producers, besides, she played the main role. The film crew presented the finished work even in the women's prison. The idea belonged to Olga. Driven by a noble desire on the eve of the 8th of March to somehow support those women who found themselves behind barbed wire in a difficult situation, she persuaded then just a colleague to go there.

Later, when Olga was asked how she works with Pimanov, because he is very strict, she joked that good films are born only in love! But then the public thought that Pogodina meant their creative union, since the romantic component of the relationship was not advertised by the couple.

Political activities

Alexey Pimanov was a member of the Public Chamber of 2010-2012 convocations. In addition, he was elected a Deputy of the Supreme Khural of the Republic of Tuva. In 2013, he became a member of the Federation Council from this republic and a member of the Defense and Security Committee. However, in October of the same year, the senator, part-time journalist, resigned in connection with the transfer to another job. Pimanov did it of his own free will, thus proving how much his profession means to him.

Interests and hobbies

The famous TV presenter still, as in childhood, continues to play both football and hockey. He is intimately acquainted with many famousathletes. And when he goes on the ice with Fetisov and Kasatonov, he sometimes surprises them with his skill.

Pimanov plays tennis well too. In addition, he is fond of political science and history, loves animals and often gives his wife flowers, sometimes even armfuls. Two dogs and a cat live in his house.
