Is it possible to become famous overnight, once waking up in the morning? No, not like Herostratus, who burned the library, but to gain real fame and respect? Many viewers, fans of the contest "Ukraine Got Talent", could repeatedly observe such a miracle. In this show, the talented actor-parodist Valery Yurchenko gained popularity, although he did not win a complete victory. In the recent past, namely in 2009, a simple policeman entered the top ten best parodists. He received a standing ovation! Only before this finest hour there were years of hard work, ups and downs, torments of creativity and flashes of insight. But first things first.

Valery Yurchenko: how he got to…

On one of the hot August days, or to be exact, early in the morning of August 18, forty years ago, in a small village near Nikolaev, the boy Valera was born. An ordinary child, like all boys. But his parents were teachers, they doted on their son, so they taught, taught, taught. Tried to give a comprehensive education and strictlythey asked, because he should be an example for others, not to shame, and so on. Imagine, in the morning - a school, after school - again a school, only a music one, and in the evening - two personal teachers at once, who check all homework with passion. In such conditions, one cannot live without a sense of humor. But Valery Yurchenko has this ability to the fullest. As, however, with an ear for music, a beautiful voice, sharp powers of observation and a host of other virtues.

Already at the age of 14, the young talent graduated from the music school. Rimsky-Korsakov in the city of Nikolaev, then general education. Immediately after that, he entered, where do you think? Of course, to the Pedagogical Institute! In 1998 he received a diploma from the Faculty of Music and World Art Culture, plus a military department.

"I have a voice too! I want to sing too!”

Those words of Gusev from "Adventures of Electronics" can characterize the mood of a young specialist, a graduate of the Nikolaev Pedagogical Institute Valery Yurchenko. Well, he did not want to go to school, even as a teacher! And I always wanted to sing. All friends and acquaintances unanimously say that Valery, cheerful, groovy, with special charisma, always becomes the soul of the company. No party is complete without songs. The guitar and accordion are his favorite instruments, which are always somewhere nearby. “In general, not a person, but a song!” - characterize his friends.

That's why Valery Yurchenko did not go to school, but went to the choir at the Drama and Musical Comedy Theater of the cityNikolaev.

Songs - even crack

The harsh nineties affected most post-Soviet people. Problems were not bypassed by our hero either. The singer and musician had to become a district policeman. For five years, from 2003 to 2008, Valery Yurchenko served as a district police officer, but his love for music won out. He is appointed head of the song and dance ensemble at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Nikolaev region. Finally, things are looking up. There is less free time, but doing what you love is not a job, but a hobby! At this time, parodies began to gain a voice. If earlier Valery noticed and ideally copied the movements and mannerisms of pop stars, now he realized that he could “make” voices.

Who does not risk

Valeriy Yurchenko became a parodist in 2009 when he ventured to take part in the all-Ukrainian show.

Now his repertoire includes more than 15 well-recognized personalities. The most beloved by the public are Freddie Mercury, Alexander Rybak, Verka Serdyuchka, Lyudmila Gurchenko, Vladimir Presnyakov, Nikolai Baskov. Parodied stars, by the way, are not offended at all. On the contrary, they are surprised at the accuracy and skill, laugh at good jokes.

After performing at the competition, parodist Valery Yurchenko travels around the country with concerts that are always a huge success. Spectators who saw his performances “live” note that the artist has a face from which any image can be fashioned. They also admire his strong voice, charisma, talent as a parodist, sense of humor and lack of stardom.

The popularity of the parodist has done its job. Before Valerynew horizons and opportunities began to open up. A contract was signed with the STB channel, new interesting work began.

Other roles

On television, the parodist gradually acquired a new profession. Now actor Valeriy Yurchenko is acting in humorous parody series "Nedo-Turkans", "Obscene Games", takes part in the filming of the Ukrainian version of the program "Big Difference".
