Popular Scottish musician and film actor Billy Boyd (photos are presented on the page) was born on August 28, 1968 in Glasgow. As soon as the boy was six years old, his mother died. Billy and his older sister were raised by their grandmother. The children grew up obedient and studied well. The father, constantly busy at work, participated in the upbringing of his son and daughter as far as possible, but this was of little use. However, Billy and his sister successfully graduated from high school.

Performing talent

From early childhood, Billy had musical abilities: he learned to play the guitar and percussion instruments. In 1985, Billy Boyd entered the Royal Scottish Academy of Drama and Music in the Department of Dramatic Arts, from which he successfully graduated in 1988. After receiving a special education and becoming a certified actor, he participated in theatrical performances, played roles in television series and individual film projects.

Billy Boyd is considered a good musician, he is the leader of the band Beecake. When the film "The Return of the King" from the "Lord of the Rings" series was filmed, the actor not only brilliantly played his character Pippin, but also wrote the song "The Edge of Night", which he himself sang during the course of the story.

In honor of the "Fellowship of the Ring", consisting of nine members, Billy Boyd wears a tattoo - the word "nine", written in Tengwar characters.
