Eugene tirelessly surprised his colleagues with exquisite recipes and extraordinary culinary experiments, remaining in people's memorynot only as an interesting conversationalist and a great storyteller, but also as an excellent cook.

Writer
The formation of Vishnevsky as a writer took place in an atmosphere of constant work. Due to the lack of special conditions, the young writer had to work at any free time, despite the interfering circumstances.
In the sixties, Vishnevsky practically did not publish, as he was constantly traveling around the country, however, in 1969, his book “At the Four Corners” was published in the West Siberian Book Publishing House, in writing which Vishnevsky was helped by his friend Vadim Ivanovich Sukhoverkhov.
After that, a forced break of fourteen years followed, and in 1983 the same publishing house published the second joint work of the two authors - “To whom to say thanks.”
In the early 1990s, Evgeny Vishnevsky took a sabbatical and was actively involved in the processing of travel notes from 1965-1980. The result of this work was the publication in 1993 of a large-scale five-volume book called Notes of a Traveling Cook.
"Notes" is a huge success with readers and can withstand more than one reprint. In 2001-2004, all of Vishnevsky's works related to culinary subjects were published in three volumes by the publishing house "Armada-press". The volumes were titled by Vishnevsky himself:
- 2001 - "Come visit us in Kolyma";
- 2003 - “Taimyr is calling us”;
- 2004 - "No tickets to Khatanga".
In 2005, Evgeny Vishnevsky presents his new book - "The Temptation of the Ocean", which is a free retelling of the author's novel "Pallada Frigate" by I. A. Goncharov.
After the publication of "The Temptation of the Ocean", the writer begins to sort and process his notes and notes about the High Arctic, trying to connect them with a fascinating plot.
The fruit of his work comes out already in 2006 and is called Tak poluchilos. The new work contains four stories about the difficult but interesting life of polar explorers.
Dramaturg
The photo of Evgeny Vishnevsky takes pride of place in the gallery of prominent citizens of Novosibirsk, because, in addition to his career as a writer, he became a successful playwright.
Taking his friend Vadim Sukhoverkhov as a co-author, Vishnevsky wrote several plays for the theater, the most famous of which is "What could I do alone?".
Later Vishnevsky will become one of the first playwrights-translators. And will work on a total of 80 plays by authors from around the world.
In 1989, the writer was awarded the honorary prize of the Union of Writers of the USSR, and in 1990 - the award "Dramaturg - Golden Pen" for achievements in the field of translation and transformation of plays by foreign authors.
Writing Career
In the mid-eighties on the literary works of Evgeny Vishnevskydrew the attention of several well-known film studios, and the writer was asked to prepare scripts for the filming of serial films based on his work.
Over the next ten years, four feature films were prepared for the Central Television of the USSR: Putorana Plateau, Into the Taiga on Sunday, This Indomitable Voronko and Ordinary Arctic.
The adaptations of Vishnevsky's novels were a great success with television viewers, and critics noted the "truthful depiction of reality, subtle humor and overall positive background" of television films.
Work on radio and television
In 1994, Evgeny decides to temporarily stop his participation in expeditions and return home to Novosibirsk. In the next few years, the writer worked on the Novosibirsk radio, releasing weekly podcasts "In the company of Evgeny Vishnevsky", as well as compiling and summarizing the literary material accumulated over the years of wanderings.
In 2003, the writer accepts an offer to host the culinary program "Gourmet's Adventures", which he hosted for three years. The writer enthusiastically talked about his hobby, shared recipes for exotic dishes and discovered the secrets of survival in the remote taiga, desert tundra or tropical thickets.
Narrator
The writer Yevgeny Vishnevsky also mastered the skill of the storyteller during long expeditions in the Russian North. For long evenings, he read his travel notes and sketches of future works to his colleagues. Vishnevsky's stories were usedvery popular both among his comrades and among readers of local newspapers, where he first published. Each time, returning from another expedition, Eugene brought several of his works to the editorial office of a newspaper or publishing house. Due to lack of time, I had to write right on the spot of the events. Evgeny Vishnevsky had almost no time to edit books. This is what shaped his recognizable, slightly stingy, but at the same time very rich style of an experienced storyteller.
