What do you need for work?
We will draw with a comfortable soft pencil. In addition to it, of course, you will need thick paper, an eraser, as well as felt-tip pens or colored pencils for coloring. Check if there are green and black shades in the box - you can't do without them!
How to draw a frog step by step
Step one. We draw the body of the frog in the form of an elongated oval, and then we make one side of it pointed towards the bottom. Let's add two small circles in the upper part, where the future head is located - these will be the eyes. Draw them so that one overlaps the other.
Step two. From the body we move on to the limbs: we draw the hind and front paws with fingers. It's quiteIt's easy when you look at the picture. Well, if the first time does not work out, you can always erase the excess. We outline the nostrils and mouth in the form of a smooth semicircle, with a ledge in the middle.
Step three. Add details: draw the pupils, nostrils, upper lip, mark the smile with a dash, form the belly with an additional horizontal line just below the middle of the body.
Step four. On the back, draw small circles and ovals of various shapes to illustrate the warty texture of the frog's body. Do not make too many of them - five or six pieces is enough. The resulting drawing can be circled with a marker or a black pen, and the pencil sketch can be erased with an eraser.
Step five. All you have to do is add colors and you're done! Use dark and light green shades for the back, and cream or sand for the belly. The frog turned out well, just like a living one!
How to draw a cartoon frog
This tutorial is even easier. Even a five-year-old child who wondered “How to draw a frog with a pencil?” Can easily cope with it.
First, draw a flattened oval, and under it - another oval, squat, resting on the first one. This will be the head and body. From below you need to draw long legs with pointed fingers. In the upper part of the legs, we will have a single design. Draw two small front paws on the body.
On the head, where the eyes should be, draw two rather large circles, and pupils in them. Under them we draw a smile in the form of a rounded line. On the front paws we also form pointed fingers, in the same way as on the legs, but much smaller.
It remains to trace the outlines of the entire frog with a marker or a stronger one with a simple pencil. We erase everything superfluous with an eraser, remove the errors that have arisen in the process. We color the frog at our discretion. You can and should use color transitions, from light to dark, so that the picture is more voluminous and richer. Pink dimples on the cheeks will also be appropriate here.
