The group "Kuvalda" ("Concrete mixer" - the most memorable hit) was formed in 1999 in the Ryazan region, in the town of Spas-Klepiki. But popularity came to her already in the early 2000s. So, for example, one of the statements says that in fact Rammstein plagiarized the idea with black stockings on their heads (clip "Ich will") from them, since the band's video for the song "Concrete Mixer" was released earlier. Indeed, after all, not a single robber of the world had ever guessed before to put a stocking on his head. In short, the guys were starred from quick success. Style of the Sledgehammer group

Having decided on such an experiment, the guys did not even suspect that the original combination of the Russian spirit and the Western trend would play into their hands. In terms of performance, they are very much reminiscent of the world-famous band called Cannibal Corpse, with a slight correction for some softening of the sound. The lyrics are dominated by the theme of cannibalism and social problems like alcoholism at work, severe work injuries and much more. But the best and most memorable hit, with which the group "Kuvalda" ascended the thrash-death-metal pedestal, is "Concrete Mixer".
The track itself is quite typical for them. The song of the Sledgehammer group, Concrete Mixer, the text is very uncomplicated. This is a description of an accident at work, or to be more precise, at a construction site. The song is about how the workers at the construction site got drunk, one of them got into the same concrete mixer, and the other turned on the unit, because of which the machine began to mix not cement, but human remains.
And taking into account the rather heavy, growling vocals and no less heavy sound, when listening, you get the feeling that you are being hit on the head with the same sledgehammer.
In a word, if the guys think about working more on their work, otherwise three albums in thirteen years is no good. The songs are somewhat sarcastic, but there are very few of them. Filming less and recording more! And it would be worth paying more attention to both the lyrics and the sound, since all three albums resemble twins, not much different from each other.
