Lucy Gordon was so passionate about her work as a journalist that she did not think about marriage at all. She liked the free life, full of adventures, and short, non-committal novels. This continued until the moment when one day in Venice the girl met a tall and handsome Italian. Their love was swift: on the second day of their acquaintance, the young man proposed to Lucy, and after another three months, the lovers officially got married. Neither their friends nor relatives believed that this marriage could last for a long time, but more than thirty years have passed since then, and the couple are still together.
Lucy can rightfully consider herself an expert in romance with Italian men. She is sure that they are the most romantic in the world and, moreover, excellent cooks. A few years ago, the couple went to Venice, where they once met. As a result, the tripdragged on for two years.
