Swimming, chess, martial arts fashionable in those years - my mother tried to make a versatile person out of Artem. Dnepropetrovsk: first scene

The State Choreographic School in Dnepropetrovsk is not much different from other similar educational institutions. Classical ballet steps, many hours of rehearsals, a strict way of life, which is already dedicated to the lofty goal - the conquest of the ballet Olympus. The first performance took place a month later. To congratulate the teacher V. I. Rogachev on the day of his anniversary, they put on tights and a turban on Artyom - and the aspiring artist was transformed into Aladdin. Though a simple role, but she was the first.

He did not dissolve among the "newsmen" in the "Great W altz". In Don Quixote, he danced a "citizen with a tambourine". This was followed by the part of the Jester in "Swan Lake" and the Toy Soldier in "The Nutcracker". There are no small roles when you have a big and clear goal in front of you. At the age of 17, Artem Ovcharenko takes another decisive step up the steps of the ballet ladder - he enters the Moscow Academy of Choreography.

Moscow: continued studies

Is it necessary to believe in the interconnectedness of the course of life? The Russian Empress Catherine II, after whom the hometown of Artyom Ovcharenko was named from the moment of its foundation (Dnepropetrovsk was called Yekaterinoslav until 1926), founded the Theater Dancing Classes in Moscow (1773). Nowadays, the educational institution has become known as the Academy of Choreography and has become the best theater university in Russia. In 2003, Artyom Ovcharenko opened another door to the world of big ballet.

The newcomer did not get lost within the walls of a new educational institution. Well-prepared, "dancing", having a sense of the stage and the audience (the Dnipropetrovsk theater experience was not in vain), he successfully began his studies in Moscow. Good luck with the teacher. Alexander Ivanovich Bondarenko, a professor and head of the department, was called a strict and demanding mentor. But he loved his students and tried to convey to them all the subtleties of the Russian ballet school.

Artyom studied diligently. I understood that there are no trifles in the profession. Then there were solo parts in performances, participation in tours of students of the Academy in the USA, China, Greece. In 2007 he completed his studies and became a corps de ballet dancer at the Bolshoi Theatre. Fate did not let me miss a single step on the stairs leading to the ballet heights.

Bolshoi Theatre: first roles

Swiftness - this is how you can characterize the progressive creative movement of Artem Ovcharenko. Most recently, a graduate of the Academy entered the theatrical stage of the country's main theater. But he did not stay in the crowd. Because the muses, the patrons of art, see talent and hard work well. The first big performance was the ballet The Nutcracker, for which, under the direction of N. M. Tsiskaridze prepared the part of the Prince. Then the role of Rybak in "The Pharaoh's Daughter" and the "Arabesque" competition (2008), which brought the award "For fidelity to the traditions of the Moscow school of classical dance."

But the cooperation between the two creative people, which began so fruitfully, quickly fell apart. In 2009, Ovcharenko moved from Tsiskaridze to the teacher N. B. Fadeechev. This decision can be explained in different ways. But since remembering the destiny, maybe it's worth remembering the birthday? After all, the date of birth of Nikolai Tsiskaridze also falls on December 31. Two bright, purposeful natures enriched each other and repelled like two identical poles of a magnet.

The creative path: all the steps of ballet
