His father, Yuri Maksimovich, worked as a cultural worker and from childhood tried to instill in little Boris a love of art. Grachevsky himself, barely standing on both legs, decided to become a professional athlete and therefore diligently began to play hockey, football, volleyball and skiing. He still has a diploma of getting the second category in volleyball and skiing. But his childhood love of sports did not prevent him from helping his father, from time to time participating in his concert productions.

Boris Grachevsky, barely finishing 8th grade, together with his parents decided to enter the Kaliningrad Mechanical College, which at that time was located in Podlipki at the Korolev plant. His training went smoothly and without much moral and physical effort. After graduating from a technical school, the already relatively adult Grachevsky decides to go to work, where he works hard for several years as a turner, and then masters the position of a design engineer. Then in 1968 he was drafted into the army, where hewhile serving, he receives a head injury and, as a result, the 2nd group of disability. After graduating from the service, young Boris goes to work as a loader at the Gorky film studio. There he loaded cars, moved the scenery, dragged various weights, and also carried heaps of props from place to place. Completely carried away by the film studio, in 1969 Grachevsky decided to enter the correspondence department at the All-Russian State University of Cinematography named after S. A. Gerasimov (VGIK) on the speci alty "organization of film production". Ironically, he manages to get a diploma only after 23 years. Yeralash humorous newsreel
"Yeralash" is a children's film magazine with a humorous, even satirical twist, which shows the realities of infancy, childhood and adolescence. To date, the favorite celebrities of the theater, cinema and stage took part in the creation of the films: Yulia Volkova, Sergey Lazarev, Vlad Topalov, Natasha Ivanova, Vyacheslav Tikhonov, Eduard Uspensky, Valentina Sperantova, Oleg Tabakov, Mikhail Gluzsky, Yuri Nikulin, Gennady Khazanov, Arkady Khait, Grigory Oster, Arkady Inin and many others.
1974 was marked for Boris by an offer from Alexander Khmelik to take the position of director in the famous film magazine underthe name "Yeralash". Immediately after that, he was appointed director, and then, in 1984, to the surprise of everyone, a new line was added to the credits - the director of Yeralash, Boris Grachevsky.
Boris Grachevsky's films
After the new artistic director of the Yeralash TV magazine, Boris Grachevsky, became popular, he was obsessed with making a film. There were already connections at that time, familiar actors, operators, etc. was quite enough, so Grachevsky, without hesitation, started filming. On May 31, 2009, the world learned about his directorial debut - a full-length feature film called The Roof. Other than that, not many people know that he co-wrote the script for the film.
After the success and the award, Boris decides to make a second, but this time a short film with an interesting title "Important Conversation".
Description of the film "Rooftop"
On September 3, 2009, the already beloved film was released in wide distribution in the cities of Russia. Everywhere he heard the slogan - "A dangerous step on the edge of childhood." The movie has several storylines. The first and central line implies a story about three classmates Lena, Sveta and Dasha, who the day before faced problems in the family. Due to the fact that parents did not devote time to their daughters, the girls lived their own lives, often they allowed themselves to climb onto the roof of one of the high-rise buildings. But one day an incredible beauty appears in their lifea boy named Maxim, who contributes to a crack in the relationship between girlfriends. In addition, some of them have problems at home in relations with their parents. Further in the film, you can see a lot of conflict situations, fights, etc., but the main thing is that after all the showdowns, an important event of the film takes place, which forces the former girlfriends to gather again on the roof they previously loved. The thing is that Lena and Sveta, being in despair, decided to jump from the edge of the roof, holding hands tightly, but at the last moment they were stopped by Dasha, who argued this with the following words: “The most precious thing that God gave us is life "".
The end of the film is not entirely clear and does not give an exact answer to the viewer's questions. All that Boris Grachevsky showed in the last episode of the film is a poster depicting Lena and her mother, it hangs on the wall of the house, and then breaks down and falls down. This symbol can be viewed from several angles. Perhaps Lena's mother will come to her senses and change her relationship with her daughter, or perhaps she will never see her child again. The main roles of the full-length feature film "The Roof" starred: Anfisa Chernykh (Lena), Sofya Ardova (Dasha), Maria Belova (Sveta).
After the premiere, the film was criticized by the audience, although in the end the director received several awards for the work done, one of them - "Our New Children's Cinema", received at the 7th Moscow Premiere Festival.

First marriage and children of Boris Grachevsky
Boris has been married twice in his life. The first wife of Boris Grachevsky is Galina Yakovleva. They met back in 1968, literally two years later, young Boris invited the girl to follow him to the registry office, and in 1970 they entered into an official marriage. Soon after that, in 1973, their family was replenished with the first child - the son of Maxim, who today is a successful businessman. A few years later, or rather in 1979, the daughter of Boris Grachevsky was born - the beautiful Ksenia, whom you know from the issues of the children's film magazine Yeralash. While Boris comprehended the heights of directing, his wife sat at home, because, according to Grachevsky himself, she did not like social evenings, parties, and various film expeditions. Many began to notice that a famous creative figure appears at various events next to another young and beautiful girl, but for some reason everyone did not attach any importance to this. And only after the divorce of a married couple (in 2005), which lasted about 35 years, the name of Boris was seen on all the headlines of the country. According to rumors, one can understand that Grachevsky himself initiated the divorce, one fine day he simply packed his things and, without explaining anything, left home. Of course, after such an act, the former spouses stopped communicating with each other, although the father of "Yeralash" wanted to remain friends. Many accused him of abandoning his family, etc., but Grachevsky himself believes that it is impossible to abandon a family in which there are already grown-up children a long time ago. Children in everythingsupported the mother, the daughter completely stopped communicating with her father. Today, in addition to children, "Papa Yeralash" also has a grandson, the son of Maxim named Kirill.
Second marriage
Oddly enough, but far from young Boris decided to marry a second time to Anna Panasenko, who worked as a casting director in the Yeralash film magazine. Many tried to interfere with their happiness by repeatedly sending threats to the girl. But she withstood everything, and in 2012 God gave this happy couple a little daughter, Vasilisa.
